I am dissatisfied with the results of the Congress of Wingtucky. There are three things which worry me:
1. Why isn't anyone concerned with the huge concentration of power that the GX has? Until someone balances their potency, it's essentially "Game Over" on the Mapp.
2. Why did less than 50% of the nations vote in the last congress? Why isn't anyone more concerned about maintaining participation, instead of prolonging an unjust economic embargo on the Hanseatic League?
3. Why are the members of the GX so afraid of the Hanseatic League and my attempts at reform? All they have done since I began was to discredit me and my League colleagues by claiming that we were a bunch of extremists or over-zealously ambitious, neither of which are true or fair. It is worth remember that the Hanseatic League has NEVER been involved in a war, and NEVER oppressed another nation. The government of Jared has even advocated for other nations (such as correcting the unjust limitations imposed on [Rattanjeetland] and [the El-Hussaq Republic], encouraging the nomination of Miketon and Pauladelphia to Great Power status, and attempting to limit the veto right of Great Powers so that they could only exercise it collectively if all Great Powers reached a consensus on a matter). But it seems that either nobody heard us, or nobody cared. [Rattanjeetland] made some comments endorsing some reforms, but most other nations were either complacent or apathetic.
I am also disappointed that my League colleague, the Novaran nation, refuses to co-operate with a trusteeship proposal that would benefit both Denisia and Jared. I would like to remind the Novaran people, and, indeed all the people of the Mapp, that Jared was the first nation to recognise the merger of Josephville and Novara when all others refused (last Christmas), and that Jared paid for the Novaran superbase (last Winter). In short, there is a historical record of my generosity and consideration towards Novara which I feel was recently betrayed by the Queen's refusal.
Essentially, the game is no longer worth playing because it is neither creative nor interesting - just a bunch of petty squabbles between people who are either obcessed with the game or who maintain a mediocre half-interest. It is my personal opinion that those people who are obcessed with the game (Gorditas, Lindsholm) drive away many who might participate more were the game taken less seriously.
Accordingly, the assets of the Jared state will be divided amongst the following three parties as follows:
1. Denisia will receive Westminster Province, including all rights to Rubicon, the Hanseatic Parliament and the two military bases located there. Denisia will also receive all rights to any land acquired in the June 2002 land rush.
2. Rattanjeetland will receive Jared Province, including Blackadder Castle. Rattanjeetland will also receive all rights to Jared's two multinational corporations: SecretBank and Schlock Mart. Rattanjeetland will also receive Jared's 50% ownership rights to the Novaran superbase, which is to be jointly operated by the Queen and the Ethnarch just as it was formerly jointly operated by the Queen and the Emm.
3. Samchorage will receive all rights to Terra Nova Colony, particularly the Colonywynd suburb. Samchorage will also receive 750,000K from the Treasury of the Hanseatic League in exchange for which I renounce all future claims against my share of the League's Treasury.
Finally, unless you, [existing members of the Mapp], address the participation problem and the concentration of power problem, the game will achieve a sort of sticky equilibrium (i.e., "Game Over"); unless a war broke out between the superpowers, although that's not likely at present.
