Legend GX + Mandates - Blue Siggary - Pink Pauldelphia - Green Miketon - Gray HL - Black Rattanjeetland - Red Samchorage - Yellow Inaccuracies: Meijing, a part of Zimbabmei, is not a part of Rattanjeetland. Natharctica is a Rattanjeetarr sphere of influence. The southern tip of former Dickens Peninsula in Rattanjeetland belongs to Miketon. An extraterritoriality arrangement in Lipasia exists between Rattanjeetland and Samchorage; therefore a uniform color is misleading. The northwestern territory of Kafobrena has enlarged at Siggary's expense. Kamostopol has been relocated. Doragrad has enlarged at Pauldelphia's expense. |
Secondly, Siggary should be removed from the Great Power list. It's a regional power, confined to the northwest. It has no outstanding military commitments and, in fact, is very afraid of warfare of any sort. Its risk aversion and lack of broad territorial interests [makes Jared] wonder why it is a Great Power? We know she will not use her economic or military resources to intervene and help someone out, she has no interest in broader issues - only in protecting her own turf. Her foreign policies are not sufficiently liberal and broad-minded to warrant the privilege of being a great power.
Thirdly, Miketon and Pauladelphia should be Great Powers. Their landholdings are widely distributed in all regions of the Mapp and they have demonstrated a commitment to the Mapp and have shown themselves to be, on the whole, good citizens of the Mapp.
Fourthly, [Rattanjeetland] is much stronger and more powerful than [it] seems. [The Ethnarch] still has a lot of territory and it's sufficiently spread out across the eastern half of the Mapp to make him a nuisance should he grow bellicose when the restrictions on him are lifted. What are these normalization talks all about? Maybe [Rattanjeetland] could sign a binding pledge, such as self-imposed limitations on military size, scope, research and activity. He would be accountable to the entire Mapp in exchange for a lifting of the restrictions on him? On a separate note, I think [Rattanjeetland]'s terroritial size [makes it] worthy of continued Great Power status, but only so long as [it] liberalises [its] use of military force and restrains [its] ambitions.
Fifthly, [the El-Hussaq Republic] has been reduced to humiliation. [It] is as much a regional power as Siggary is, except [it's] in the Southeast. I still think [President El Cid II] should have FREEH back, but only in exchange for a binding pledge which would be similar to [Rattanjeetland's]. In my opinion, [the El-Hussaq Republic] is not yet ready for great power status.
Sixthly, [Samchorage] should get [its] great power status back. Perhaps a deal could be made where [the President] would promise peace over the current hot button issue involving him in exchange for Great Power status?
Seventhly, the [Hanseatic League] (HL) is ready for Great Power status. We are of sufficient size, with holdings all over the Mapp, and our foreign policy - although at times contentious - has been on the whole balanced and fair. We seek to improve the Mapp, and we have advanced the interests of other nations with minimal benefit to ourselves. In short, we are qualified.
Eighthly, the HL would like to [charge] the GX in the [upcoming Congress]*. The HL charges that the Lindsholm Doctrine of May 13th is:
1. [a] conspiracy against international peace**; and
[Therefore, we demand]:
The HL's arguments are outlined in the Jared press release of May 14 . We would like this matter expedited and heard and decided upon as soon as possible.
The Emm of Jared
*Originally the Emm stated he would like to 'sue' the GX in 'CP Court'. However because no such facility exists and charges were laid, a Congress was deemed to be the appropriate course of legal redress.
2. [a form of aggression in that it is] aggressive, threatening behaviour**.
**Because the Lindsholm Doctrine was not a direct aggressive action and only pre-meditative, the two charges have been combined into a single charge of 'conspiracy against international peace'.
1. a public apology and public repudiation by all GX nations; and
2. [a] worthy replacement with a publicly announced, liberal, GX-wide foreign policy
