You, [the Secretary-General], are correct to bring the pressing political crisis to our attention. While the People of the USSRJ are greatly offended by the threats made against our peaceful state, and loathe to respond in any way but violent diplomatic protest, in the interests of peace and according to our tradition of pacifism despite extreme provocation, we hereby officially endorse and fully support the renegotiation of the Riksholm Treaty. It is high time the states of the Phoenix Confederacy leave behind their tattered past and re-enter the international community, as equals by right, not inferiors by Treaty.
