Bangkwok Press Release
TERRORISM AT THE JEETANICS

When the small country of Bangkwok caught wind of the Jeetanics bombing, there was immediate uproar. We were outraged by the terrorism, deeply sympathetic to the loss of innocent lives, and moved by the unprecedented call for help from the distant country of Soozhou.

THE BEGINNING OF BANGKWOK BILL

The Benevolent Triumvirate immediately launched into action, gathering the enthusiastic support of many Mapp countries. This spurred into effect what is now known as the Bangkwok Bill. To our great surprise, only the great empire of Herwan failed to answer! Repeated requests were ignored. No explanation was provided. Nonetheless, we pushed forth, hoping for an answer to vindicate those victims in Herwan.

ZIMBABMEI DECLARED GUILTY BY SECOND INQUIRY

Zimbabmei was caught for bombing the Jeetanics. Officially by the CP Second Inquiry, unofficially by two separate O.C. spy missions.

First CP Inquiry - Inconclusive
Second CP inquiry - Zimbabmei
Octavton spy mission 1 - Inconclusive (O.C. not caught)
Octavton spy mission 2 - Herwan innocent (O.C. caught)
Octavton spy mission 3 - Herwan innocent (O.C. caught)
Lebrianon spy mission 1 - Zimbabmei (O.C. not caught)
Lebrianon spy mission 2 - Inconclusive (O.C. not caught)
Lebrianon spy mission 3 - Zimbabmei (O.C. caught)

(Notes: Octavton interest in Herwan was fueled by puzzling Herwanese disregard for the Second Inquiry.)

A CONSPIRACY: THE HERWAN-ZIMBABMEI CONNECTION

Bangkwok officials were shocked.

To the Mapp, Zimbabmei and Herwan have traditionally been allies. And Zimbabmei, which already has a history riddled with unprovoked aggression towards other countries, has been peaceful for months.

In Bangkwok, however, the pieces of the puzzle fell together instantly. For months, the BT knew that ZIMBABMEI IS BEING RUN BY HERWANESE ADMINISTRATION. This agreement was in place long before the Congress of Jollywood occurred.

This information was relayed to the Benevolent Triumvirate:
1) By the Pharaoh (re: request mutual embassies)
2) By Herwan to the BT in conversation (re: trade with Zimbabmei)

Bangkwok never revealed this connection, as we never felt it mattered. Bangkwok was asked to keep this information private. We obliged. In light of this incident, we feel that it is our duty to have as much of the truth opened to the citizens of the Mapp as possible.

WAS HERWAN FRAMED?

We want justice, and to refrain from pointing fingers. We want to consider the possibility that Herwan was framed.

1) The following countries possessed offensive intel at the time of the bombing, thus capable to plant a bomb or to frame another country:

Bernicia
Giangibouti
Gorditas
Lebrianon
Lindsholm
Marcusburg
Octavton
Rattanjeetland
Siggary
Wenshana
Zimbabmei

Of these, only Bernicia and Zimbabmei did not support the Second Inquiry.

If need be, should the intel of all of these countries be investigated?

2) Of 8 known inquiries (see above), Zimbabmei was caught for 3. That is a very high percentage, given that the possible outcomes of an inquiry are to a) find the true perpetrator, b) find nothing, c) find the wrong person (whoever was framed). Is it very likely that someone could framed Zimbabmei and were not caught AT ALL when 8 SEPARATE INQUIRIES were conducted? (Consider the frequency of spies that have been caught in recent missions.)

Should more inquiries be conducted to increase statistical accuracy?

3) Any country with offensive intel ran the risk of getting caught when they bombed Herwan. Conveniently enough, since Herwan runs Zimbabmei, the Herwanese government would have turned a blind eye if Zimbabmei was caught. Effectively, Zimbabmei is the ONLY non-PXE country on the Mapp that ran a 0% chance of being revealed as the terrorist.

Is this conclusion false? Are countries are willing to unlock their archives as the O.C. did?

UNANSWERED QUESTIONS

What were the results of the Zimbabmei missions?
Who would want to hurt Herwan and knew to frame Zimbabmei for the bombing?
Who would (and could afford to) take the risk of being caught for this crime?

CONCLUSION

The evidence is damning. We will not speculate on motives. If indeed this press release has captured the truth, we trust appropriate action will take place. If we are wrong, we trust that the truth will reveal itself in time, and the PXE will be honoured for its tolerance of this investigation and repaid for its suffering.
