Lindsholm Press Release
"The past events on the Mapp have troubled me. Dickens Peninsula, with an interesting, albeit foolhardy and loud-mouthed leader, has come under attack recently. The entire reason, as I believe it, was not out of revenge for the leaders of the former Kamograd and Wendorra La Vella, but for the sole purpose of not allowing another country leave his protectorateship. I personally have not seen the liaisons of the initial press release in which the alluding to liasons was made, but still believe that there was such a release.
"This simple act troubled me, for this action, I interpreted it as an act of anger over the unilateral declaration of independence of Dickens Peninsula. I wanted to personally talk to the Ethnarch at this time, but was unable to reach him until a later date. I wished to know the true intentions of Rattanjeetland first hand, and wanted to explain that if he had indeed invaded Dickens Peninsula out of spite because of the declaration of independence, that he was in violation of the Consulplatz treaty, Article III, clause C(i), and he was tempting military action.
"But before I could reach the Ethnarch, a scathing press release from Dickens Peninsula was circulated. [This press release went far beyond the scope to which the Mapp is supposed to be taken, it insulted the real person in control of Rattanjeetland, and for this] I would like to publicly state that I do not condone this action, I think that it is something that should never happen, and on behalf of Dickens Peninsula, I would like to apologize to that person.
"Before the next time I could speak to the Ethnarch, I had found out many shocking results of what had happened:
1.) That Rattanjeetland had annexed Dickens Peninsula, and;
"The next day, I was finally able to confront the Ethnarch. I explained to him that he had annexed land which was a part of Lindsholm. I said that I wanted to have this resolved by Wednesday, and this must have been interpreted as a threat, as I was told that I had until the end of Tuesday to get out of land that I had previously taken from Rattanjeetland.
"To this I responded, 'Bring it On,' as I am not one to take kindly to threats, especially from a weaker country like Rattanjeetland. In response to Jeeta Bin Lardy's response, the following steps have been taken in Lindsholm:
1.) All borders into Lindsholm have been closed to Rattanjeetlanders, which means that all Rattanjeetlanders are not allowed in any Lindsholm territories, which include airspace, so all commercial air travel with Rattanjeetarr airlines or their personnel are not allowed in.
"As well, instead of waiting for CP, I wish to lead a humanitarian mission, to release Dickens Peninsula of its aggressors, but am willing to try as many diplomatic means as possible before that might happen."
October 16, 2001
2.) Dickens Peninsula had been ceded to Lindsholm.
2.) All current Rattanjeetlanders have had their passports and visas revoked, and have been placed into custody for being illegal aliens. All financial assets of these have been seized by Lindsholm, and will not be returned.
3.) All amenities currently in Lindsholm can not be accessed by Rattanjeetlanders since the border between Lindsholm and Rattanjeetland has been closed, as well, an economic embargo has been placed against Rattanjeetland, lasting an indefinite period of time.
4.) Lindsholm does not recognize Rattanjeetland as being in control of Dickens Peninsula, as I have sent diplomats into Dickens Penisula to negotiate with the leaders of that country, and am in contact with the Universal Dictator.
5.) I have put a motion into CP, stating that only four Great Powers exist, and all others will not be recognized by Lindsholm. The four Great Powers are as stated: Gorditas, Lindsholm, Marcusburg, and Siggary.
