Rattanjeetland Press Release
October 11, 2001
From the Desk of Ethnarch

"Rattanjeetland was placed in a very sharp postion recently, as nations threatened the very honor of Rattanjeetland and its allies. Both of the threats came from within the Rattanjeetland protectorate sphere, made up of understandably upset former Confederacy members.

"In this, Rattanjeetland was clear. As stated in the Consuplatz treaty, Rattanjeetland would let those who no longer wished to associate itself with Rattanjeetland leave his protectorship. But Rattanjeetland stands that though it will be willing to let his protectorates leave, it will in no way surrender to insults on Rattanjeetland's [integrity], nor will it allow the integrety of those it protects to be damaged in any way.

"El-Hussaq respected this, and this is why it was allowed to leave in peace. Dickens Peninsula not only insulted Rattanjeetland in its press release, stating that Rattanjeetland was inferior by allowing D.P. to keep its land in the latest land rush, but issued press releases hinting of improper relationships existing between a currently disposed leader and the leader of one of Rattanjeetland's protectorates.

"These unfounded and insulting claims can not be tolerated, and action was taken to show the perverted leader of Dickens Peninsula that such actions are punishable. The action that was taken was swift military action, meticilously planned to ensure [effectively allow] zero civilian casualties. I now urge the leader of Dickens Peninsula to either come forward and apologise for his actions or be deemed unfit to ever rule any part of Dickens Peninsula again.

"Note to the leader of DP: success is only given by the Lord, but only to those who fight for a just cause but remain humble in their words."
