Rattanjeetland Press Release
October 18, 2001

After a cabinet meeting in Rattanjeetland today, a governmental representative met with the press and told them the following:

"As I have repeatedly stated, the Universalistic Dictator had an opportunity to apologize to Rattanjeetland and Wendorra la Vella, and would have then received all of Dickens Peninsula in return, no strings attached. The Ethnarch has conveyed these messages to the Dictator many times, only to receive incoherent responses, and insults in the form of official propaganda.

"The way in which [DP's] press releases have been complicating the situation cannot be ignored, but in response to Marcusburg's recent Press Release, the Ethnarch now says he will be willing to give peace a chance and has offered to restore at least most of former DP should the Dictator now make a full apology.

"I will stress that the Ethnarch's patience has grown very thin since the Dictator's last burst of insults, and that only a full public apology will allow Dickens Peninsula to be reformed."
