High Commissioner Bumped
Queen of New Weimar Retakes Control

NEW WEIMAR - In a sombre ceremony, High Commissioner Dora-Marie Goulet left the D.O.R.A. for her new post in Siggary as head of Congressional janitorial services. In her place will be the former ruler of New Weimar, the Queen.

Since April 2000, the Queen of New Weimar has been living in voluntary seculsion on a goat farm in Marcusburg Colonius. Nursing goats from all over the countryside, the Queen and her Royal Court enjoyed a peaceful life. However, seeing the missiles light up the sky with the Pyrrhic War, and recently the Creosos War, made the Queen worry about the state of her nation.

Swiftly taking all the goat milk and cheese available, the Queen left Colonius for New Weimar after receiving an invitation from Congressional Parliament to replace the negligent High Commissioner. Since assuming control following the Queen's abdication, the High Commissioner has embarked on some ambitious projects - all of which failed.

The D.O.R.A. has been slow to react, at best, and absent, at worst, to crises involving human rights. In fact, Congressional records indicate that High Commissioner Goulet spends hardly any time in the D.O.R.A. at all. With the return of the feisty Queen, it is hoped by Congressional Parliament that the Queen will make the D.O.R.A. a more viable entity on the Mapp.
