Even though an agreement was reached to relocate Kamostopol on March 2, 2002, around five thousand Kamostopolian farmers are still herding their goats in the shadow of Siggarian skyscrapers. Early Siggarian plans involved moving Kamostopol to the Pauldelphian border. However the Republic was able to grow in that direction during lengthy bilateral talks with Marcusburg, which is responsible for Kamostopolian foreign affairs.

After civil planners decided against moving Kamostopol to the Pauldelphian border, the Queen sought to relocate the country to the border vertex shared by Siggary, Pauldelphia, and Denisia. However, when the Amrylin objected to having a potentially aggressive power to the west of her nation, the Queen relented on March 14. Further complicating matters is the possibility that the entire Hanseatic League might have to be consulted if the Queen wants to avoid Hanseo-Siggarian diplomatic tension. It currently appears that the Kamostopolian goat herders are going to be staying put for quite some time.
