CP Furious
More than two weeks have past since the Jared Bill was introduced for debate in the CP General Assembly on March 30. However, not a single Congressional ambassador has made any comment over the issue. While deputies may bicker and debate over environmental and legal issues, many have no comment to make regarding Motion No. 1.
Even the SPQJ (Jared) ambassador has not released a statement about the bill, thereby greatly reducing the credibility of the motion. When questioned, government representatives from major Mapp powers point to annual budget readings as the reason behind the apathy to international affairs. For example, the Amiconsegi in Siggary is holding 22-hour parliamentary sessions to debate the national budget there. Rumors indicate that Siggarian caffeine pill sales have increased 340% this year alone.
Although the situation in Siggary may be excused at first glance because the budget must be read six times instead of the usual five, many Congressional officials remain furious. They cite that nations had time to respond to the bill before the "winter term" budgets were tabulated for approval in late March and early April. Therefore the Secretary-General has invoked closure on the bill, dated for May 1, 2002. Shortly thereafter, Motion No. 1 shall be voted upon in an Accreditation in an effort to receive assent.
In response to Congressional fury, the Rattanjeetland ambassador has hinted that his nation is preparing a response that shall be released after the Rattanjeetarr budget has been passed. He also noted that the Adiposia has been recently bogged down by recent rumors of possible vegetable crop contamination. Officials there are continuing their attempts to contain the so-called "microbiology crisis".
Apathy to Jared Bill Incredulous
