SAMCHORAGE - Following the climax of the Land Rush, the President pushed further and solidified his influence in the west with his newest acquisition - Kamograd. Already, Samchorage is a prosperous and powerful empire, recovering nicely from the devastating Pyrrhic War.

In contrast is Kamograd, resurrected from near-death, it was in dire straits with Rattanjeetland due to the Phoenix Crisis. Badly whipped by the Ethnarch in the Creosos War, the King of Kamopolis gave the throne to a new President - that of Kamograd. The President was saddled with the baggage of Kamopolis proper since the Ethnarch laid claim to all territory held by the Kamopolitan people.

With the protection of Samchorage, Kamopolis realized the old adage "My enemy's enemy is my friend". As is widely known, Rattanjeetland and Samchorage have long-running tensions between them, starting with the Norterr Crisis and peaking with the Pyrrhic War. To this very day the Ethnarch and the President of Samchorage have never signed a formal peace treaty. The Marcusburg Accords, ending hostilities, are only a perpetual cease-fire. The merging of anti-Rattanjeetland forces is sure to shape Rattanjeetland foreign policy in the days to come.
