Peace Agreeement Reached
Breakthrough Buries Pyrrhic and Creosos Grudges

A Rattanjeetland proposition met approval with the President of Samchorage following a few modifications. The final draft of the peace settlement, agreed upon by three powers - Samchorage, Rattanjeetland, and Kamograd, settles issues relating to the Pyrrhic War and the Creosos War. In effect, some issues relating as far back as to the Norterr Crisis are laid to rest.

Samchorage and Rattanjeetland agree to a permanent peace settlement although all claims from past wars will not be nullified. Agreeing to disagree, both nations agreed that no aggression towards one another will be committed.

As well, Rattanjeetland recieves 15% of territory lost in the Phyrric war and 50,000K from Samchorage. Samchorage also agrees to promote free trade within its protectorates, Samchorage proper, and the Rattanjeetland Confederacy.

The agreement has found the approval of Congressional Parliament and the Prime Chancellor of Marcusburg, who chaired the peace talks. Although a little embarassed that the peace settlement occurred without direct Marcusburg influence, the Prime Chancellor called the development "a victory for peace and mankind".

In Josephville, the Vice Proconsul stated that the development was a milestone in that it heralds the ability of powers on the Mapp to act independent of Marcusburg influence. He is quoted as saying, "Finally, Great Powers take the initiative in breaking out of the post-Great War Marcusburg-led political hegemony".
