In newly released documents from the Presidential Oval Office, it is revealed that before the Samchoragean ultimatum passed, the Queen of Wendorra la Vella agreed to kowtow to demands of accepting Neorikspolitik. However, she failed to publicize her intentions, as stipulated in the secret bilateral agreement.

The President was quoted as saying, "We have waited and waited - Neorikspolitik has been delayed for long enough. The Queen has until Monday to fulfill her word." A Congressional envoy for peace has been scheduled to fly to Samchorage tomorrow for a last-ditch attempt at peace negotiations. In the meantime, the President has effectively warned the Mapp not to be surprised if military action is taken in the near future.
