New Weimar Bankrupt

NEW WEIMAR - Without looking back at the national purse, the Queen of New Weimar has run her country into severe debt in a bid to modernize the nation.

Ironically the financial woes are not from building too many houses, apartments, or businesses, but from a recent bid to the Congressional Auction House. Although the Queen won the Tamarc building rights due to her sole bid of 300 million altos, it plunged her country into legal bankruptcy. Under international law a nation under such conditions must bring itself out of severe debt before the Congressional Parliament releases the monthly financial statement, or risk partitioning. Since the financial statement is slated to be publicizied on September 7, New Weimar finds itself in desperate straits.

As a result, the World Bank is calling on all nations to grant money, or loan it, to New Weimar in an emergency financial bailout package. In its continuing mission to further the development of Emerging and Middle Powers, the Secretary-General has commended the Queen for her modernization attempts and fully endorses the World Bank's plea. Some critics, however, say that the move is a convenient smokescreen to divert attention from the Congressional Scandal, and the associated delays in establishing the 'Embargo Termination Committee'.
