With all her forces in the Kafobrenan capital, detached from the colony, the Empress was unable to protect her colony which easily fell to the invading Neodickensian forces.

Crossing the length of the known world in Terra Occidentale, 66,666 troops in the hastily created Neodickensian Expeditionary Army met little resistance once they reached Kafobrena.

Although the people refused to surrender initially, the sight of Neodickensian bombers flying overhead, targeting the international airport, quickly changed their minds.

The war was lightning-quick and bloodless but the Empress has yet to formally make a statement concerning the situation. Similarly, the press has been unable to extract any comments from the Universalistic Dictator.

In the meantime, Neodickensian troops have severed all road, rail, and air links between the Kafobrenan colony and neighbouring countries. Only time will tell how the situation will turn out.
