After months of preparation, the Queen has finally taken the first step towards taking her country to the stars and beyond.
Sensing that Siggary was losing its direction and stagnating on the world scene, the Queen began making preparations for a national space program in the summer of 2003.
With the largest treasury on the Mapp and a thiriving economy, finances were simply not an issue for the Siggarians, unlike the space programs of Rattanjeetland and East El-Hussaq.
If tradition holds, Siggarian ambitions in space should be peaceful, as the country is world-renowned for its pacifist agenda. Already a leader in new technologies, Siggary should easily make its presence felt in space.
However, actually getting there may still take some time. Siggary still does not yet have the means of launching vehicles into space. But the new government space agency will be one small step for the Mapp, and one huge leap for Siggary.
