Kamogradian Proposal Reluctantly Accepted

JENNEVA - The ruler of Jenneva officially brought her nation back into existence following the acceptance of a Kamogradian proposal on January 6, 2000. After tense negotiations in Kamograd, it was decided that Jenneva would regain her independence and sovereignty although she would become a Kamograd protectorate. As a protectorate, Jenneva would be forbidden from forming a military.

However, Jenneva would receive Kamogradian protection should its national security be threatened. As well, Jenneva regains total economic sovereignty and the right to construct whatever it wants on its own land. A treasury of 50,000K is bestowed onto Jenneva from Kamograd for its own use. World Bank loans need not be verified by Kamograd.

Many in Jenneva are unhappy at the deal for they feel that what is rightly theirs has been wrongfully stolen from them. In Kamograd, many are relieved that a new territory was added to the "glorious republic" without having to commit genocide.
