Termed the 'Constitution of the Sixth Era', the agreement ushers in a new era of history for the Republican Empire of Samchorage. In the deal brokered by the Prime Chancellor, Samchorage is completely deriksholmicated and gains observer status in the GX - two dramatic concessions that many would have thought impossible just weeks earlier.

However, the document also entrenches Marcusburg influence in Samchorage by making a Marcurean general the head of the armed forces. Furthermore, in the newly invigorated Samchoragean democracy, all military decisions need the consensus of the three branches of government: the executive (President), legislative (Parliament), and military (the Marcurean general).

In return, Marcusburg has agreed to lend its economic expertise to get Samchorage back on its feet and has signed a defensive alliance with the Republican Empire.

In addition, the Prime Chancellor has called on the GX to sign treaties of friendship with Samchorage in order to normalize strained relations between those nations ever since the historical and devastating War of 2K1. To facilitate normalization of relations with Congressional Parliament, the constitution also grants Wendorra la Vella full independence.

In spite of the jubilation in Samchorage, the new constitution raises some concerning issues. For example, many in Lindsholm remain worried at the prospect of a renewed Samchorage since their country was the target of a massive aggressive coalition headed by Samchorage during the War of 2K1.

Others are concerned about the effects of sudden deriksholmification, as many nations are still bound by the terms of the Riksholm Treaty, not including the dramatic El-Hussaqi military breech which still remains unresolved to this very day.

As a side note, the 'Sixth Era' refers to the historical epochs in Samchoragean history. The first was back in ancient times when Samchorageans led simple lives growing coffee in plantations by the river.

The Second Era came about from rapid modernization after joining Marcusburg in a coalition to defeat Josephville in the Volksieg which led to the formation of Lindsholm.

The Third Era saw Rattanjeetarr control when the President abdicated after being disgusted by Portalto's abdication to Marcusburg after learning that Samchorage intended on waging war against it.

The fourth began when Rattanjeetland restored Samchorage and together helped found the Phoenix Confederacy, leading to the disastrous War of 2K1 and the resulting Riksholm Treaty.

The Fifth Era marked the end of the Confederacy as Samchorage pledged to become a peaceful neutral country and leave the decaying power bloc. With Samchorage gone, the Confederacy collapsed and the Cold War came to an end.
