Rattanjeetland Invades Gabishire
GABISHIRE - Without warning, a surprise attack was unleashed on Gabishire on January 10, 2000. As Rattanjeetland transport helicopters neared the country, Gabishire unsuccessfully tried to implement its primitive conscription program in times of emergency.
Rattanjeetland troops, having learnt from the Wendorra Blunder, landed in Gabishire with relative ease - an invasion force 10,000 strong. With no defenses and troops, Gabishire was easy prey. Air attacks and missiles rained from the sky, all of them successful. However, Gabishire refused to surrender.
Rattanjeetland troops stormed government offices and took officials away as prisoners of war while the few structures in the small nation were being decimated one at a time. Nevertheless, Gabishireans continued their valiant struggle with their only weapons being sticks, stones, and plywood from Gazebosquire.
The invasion lasted less than an hour. Within this time, Gabishire had fallen as Rattanjeetland troops managed to subdue the populace and break morale by torching shops and the nationally esteemed Gabishire Park. Without foreign assistance, partly a result of Gabishirean pride, captured government officials surrendered to Rattanjeetland. 17,906 casulaties, all from Gabishire, paved the roads in blood and another nation had fallen victim to the Confederacy.
After Rattanjeetland secured control of Gabishire, the Prime Minister of Gorditas enacted a daring plan of humanitarianism - to secretly transport Gabishirean refugees to Gorditas in a process known as "Redoctrinization". Unfortunately, as word spread of a secret "Underground Railroad to the Land of Salsa", Rattanjeetland troops discovered the ploy and expelled all Gorditans in Gabishire - whether they be spies or civilian.
