Lindsholm Invades Jangstown
After nearly a half year of civil unrest, the Supreme Viceroy of Lindsholm makes good on his promise to restore order to his troubled protectorate.

At 10:54 PM on January 5, 2005, 250,000 troops from Lindsholm marched into both provinces of Jangstown. The people there, tired of endless economic and political strife, welcomed the troops with open arms. Indeed, nearly 300,000 Jangstonians have left the country looking for a better life.

However, the country's military brass, disgusted with what it considered Lindsholmic betrayal, ordered troops to fight against their country's former protector to defend the motherland. Vicious urban battles ensued and by the time the Jangstonian army was pacified, over 40,000 Lindsholmians and 55,000 Jangstonian laid dead in city streets.

Although it is clear to many that Lindsholm acted in the spirit of Responsible Determination (as the Supreme Viceroy had hinted for months), a major problem is that no diplomatic avenues were pursued, thus the action is technically considered aggression.
