World Bank Established
MARCUSBURG - With nations teetering towards bankruptcy or stagnated in light of tight treasuries, Congressional Parliament (CP) has tried to resolve the situation by in effect creating
a large pool of cash for all non-Great Powers who want it. However, CP is determined not to finance the construction of a ruthless totalitarian fighting machine. Instead, money will be granted to
civilian construction projects in a bid to make these powers financially self-sufficient since cash flow is determined by per capita income, which is related to standard of living.
Already, nations are taking advantage of this opportunity. In Pauldelphia, paul.com has been successfully founded. In Siggary, three multinationals, including "Sigsweets" and "Amigateaux", are ready for
construction. Also, there is talk in Jared of financing the largest sports-related endeavour, next to the MHL, in Mapp history.
Critics challenge, however, that the World Bank is not an attempt to instill financial responsibility but is charity. Other groups, such as the D.O.R.A., welcome the measure as a long sought-after
development to level out the playing field between the Great Powers and the non-Great Powers. As expected, many Great Power ambassadors are grumbling about the current state of the World Bank. As the
ambassador of Bendover puts it, "I thought we were all equal but now I know that the little guys come first. So much for equality!".
