Kamograd Addresses Revolt
Recent comments blasting the Phoenix Confederacy from its own members, notably Josephville and Natharctica, have met their first response on June 26, 2001. The President of Kamograd was quoted as saying, "The recent disclosures made by the leaders of Josephville and Nathartica raise important points about the structure and leadership of the Confederacy. The Confederacy is a viable and vibrant community that has yet to reach its full potential. Something must be done to give all nations a voice in its development. Peace must be made within and outside the league."
Other Confederate leaders have yet to respond to the inflammatory statements made by Josephville and Natharctica. However, the statement from Kamograd suggests a stark change in domestic power bloc policy. Whereas previous rumblings about discontent were met with brute force, as shown in the Natharctica Scandal, Josephville and Natharctica have met no consequences. Analysts suspect that these developments may be the first of a reform movement within the Confederacy and just the beginning of more protests.
