Wendorra la Vella Occupies Nemangrade
Rattanjeetland Protection Renounced

On July 5, 2001, the Principat de Wendorra la Vella found itself in the midst of a political crisis as the Queen introduced a motion to declare neutrality away from the Phoenix Confederacy. Although the bill was defeated in the Pacifist-controlled Polimento (Wendorran Parliament), the Queen tried once again to regain her sovereignty by sending another motion to the Polimento for approval - the renunciation of Rattanjeetland protection.

Rattanjeetland had acquired Wendorra la Vella as a protectorate in the "Wendorra Blunder" back in November 2000 during a time of rapid Confederate expansion. The wounds left in Wendorran national pride made itself known as the Polimento overwhelming endorsed the bill with 82.5% support. Now no longer constricted by the Rattanjeetarr military apparatus, Wendorra la Vella was free to do as it chose.

An attack force of 3,146 military troops left Wendorra la Vella and drove through Samchorage in order to attack Nemangrade. Upon seeing the troops, the nation of nomadic goat herders surrendered to Wendorra la Vella. Victorious, the Queen wanted to send a squadron of bombers to obilterate the sheep farms present there. However, after consulting the Polimento the plan was dropped. In return, retroactive approval of the attack was given. As Nemangraders witness the cessation of their sovereignty, the Confederacy has begun plans to respond to the urgent situation.
