Rattanjeetland Conscripts
First Step in Confederate Armament Initiative

Stemming directly from the Wendorra la Vellan invasion of Nemangrade, the Ethnarch of Rattanjeetland ordered widespread conscription of Rattanjeetland citizens on July 6, 2001. As a result, the Rattanjeetland armed forces number over 600,000. However, the move came not from the urge to punish Wendorra la Vella, but from regained confidence within the Confederacy that it is once again a viable political and military entity. Rattanjeetland, the symbolic head of the Phoenix Confederacy, has led the newfound Confederate spirit.

Insider information has suggested that pan-Confederate cooperation of issues ranging from economics to defense have experienced a renaissance. Although the Republic of Kamograd, protector of Nemangrade Territory, has unofficially reacted negatively to the Wendorran attack, most within the Confederacy view the event as a positive development. As a final note, the Ethnarch has pledged that conscription shall abide by the Riksholm Treaty.
