Peace Conference Set To Begin
De Facto Ceasefire Finds Solid Ground

Following the acceptance of the Kamogradian abdication to Marcusburg on July 13, 2001, the Prime Chancellor immediately began setting the foundations for a peace conference. Ambassadors from Gorditas, Lindsholm, Pauldelphia, Rattanjeetland, Samchorage, Wendorra la Vella, and delegates from various Nexus and Confederate powers have been invited to the Consulplatz in Marcusburg Colonius province to begin negotiations.

When talks begin, thorny issues such as the fate of Samchorage and Kamograd will be decided. Territorial, economic, political, and military arrangements will also have to be made. Analysts predict that the talks will not be easy, and might prove even more difficult than the Riksholm negotiations, although the complexity of dealing with power blocs is largely absent this time around.

Negotiations are scheduled to begin on July 21.
