Siggary Receives Ultimatum
East El-Hussaq Orders Queen to Withdraw From Kamostopol
LAST UPDATED: 1846 MST

At 10:48 AM on October 2, 2001, President El Cid II of the El-Hussaqi Republic issued an ultimatum to the Queen of Siggary from the East El-Hussaqi Parliament, ordering her to withdraw from Kamostopol on the basis that the land belongs to the chieftain of Kamostopol. The chieftain of Kamostopol this morning at 10:46 AM had ceded his land to the El-Hussaqi Republic, and thus El Cid II believes he rightfully owns it.

Because the Queen is away at a conference over shadow pollution, the Siggarian government has not yet had the chance to respond. However, upon receiving word of the ultimatum, the Privy Council of Siggary disclosed a plan to allow temporary administration of Kamostopol as a Congressional mandate. The outcome of this scheme is currently unknown in light of the current events. It is expected the Queen received the message at 6:00 PM at which point she will have two hours to decide whether to accept or reject the ultimatum. In the meantime, East El-Hussaq has ordered a general conscription of the populace in abidance with the Riksholm Treaty.
