Where is
Osama Bin Ladin?
By: Andrew Rogers
No one really knows where Osama Bin Ladin is. There have been far less news reports about hims lately. When there is, the reports are about the CIA having various ideas of where he could be. First, they thought he was in a cave (as if there weren't about a million caves in Afghanistan) Then, they thought he might have escaped to Pakistan. Now, CIA officals believe he has slipped though our fingers yet again and entered Iran.
If you ask me I think Osama Bin Ladin is dead. The United States military captured and killed him long ago. However, there is a catch. The citizens of the US only supported the war in Afghanistan when it was targeted at terrorism and finding Osama Bin Ladin. If in fact they did kill Bin Ladin and the media reported it, the American public could lose interest in this war.
So, to keep the United States in the war, the media must continue to remind civilians that Bin Ladin is still alive. That is why every now and then there are stories of our continued search to find him.
That is only my opinion. I hope he really is dead for the sake of our country. However, if he is alive like the CIA says, it seems our armed forces and US intellegence are doing a great job at finding him. *cough, cough*

It seems funny to me that everytime a student does something wrong, the faculty throws the book at them (the student handbook that is) Every little problem is handled by the book. No matter what the problem.....IT'S IN THE BOOK. Well, isn't this funny.......IN THE STUDENT HANDBOOK, on page 10, it states (word for word):

Well, that seems a bit odd. I do not believe we have EVER been evacuated for a bomb threat. Now this makes me wonder. Does this mean something in our "holy" handbook is not true?! How are we supposed to follow rules that the school made when they are not even following the rules. Come on, they made them! This rule isn't just about chewing gum in biology class, this is our safety we are talking about! If they decide that evacuating students is not necessary, that's cool, but take if out of the handbook.
Bomb Threat
If a bomb threat is received at the high school, all students will be evacuated immediately. A search of the building will be made. Students are expected to stay on school grounds during the search. Students leaving school grounds will be subject to a suspension. Any student guilty of calling in a bomb threat to any Mason Public School building will be recommended for expulsion and subject to prosecution.
