There are over 100 Professional skateboarders and over 200 Amateur skateboarders. Compared to the number of people that skateboard, that's not a lot. So, your frustration is understandable and hey, look at the perks of being a pro: -Hanging with friends all day -Traveling to exotic skate destinations -Live comfortably and then some -Getting paid to do what you love      If you know your good enough and want to try and get a sponcor, try out some of the tips below!

Getting Sponcored

1) Develope your ability 2) Travel and skate on different terrain 3) Always have an idea of company you would want to ride for 4) Go ahead and make a "Sponcor Me" video, if you get a sponcor you will need to make video parts for them anyway 5) Make video short and sweet

What companies look for: * Ability * Personality * Desire * Endurance * Creativity * Someone that can push limits * Someone that will be loyal(sport their gear, ride their products, advertise) * Background in sport(ever been in a magazine, started a skatepark, achievements, etc.)(Note-Contest results probably will not help)

This Week's Special Feature: How to get Sponcored

1) Put your front foot in the center and put your back foot on the tail, be sure to start out slowly 2) Now you must do a pop shuvit. When the board spins a quarter of the way, take yout front foot, and kick it out, so you are flipping the board 3) Suck in your feet 4) Wait till your board has done the pop shuvit and kickflip, and then plant your feet on the board 5) You just did a Varial Kickflip
