Time they say will heal the pain The rainy days will go away Love they say will keep us together Your spirit will guide me securely forever Emotions they say should not be hidden To keep it inside is surely forbidden Death they say is a new beginning Your born again but no longer living Hurt they say shall dissapear Fade away throughout the years Dreams they say should never die We must hold on to keep them alive Strength they say is what is needed But I am lost and no longer feel it Angels they say look after the dead They hold your soul and wings they send Heaven they say is where you'll be Sending you love, looking down on me My Brother I say you rest in peace Your troubles are gone your now at ease I shall never forget you, your love will live on We'll see you again it wont be too long For now I'll be strong, and live life for you I'll fight off the pain my dreams will come true I'll keep my head high, my feet on the ground I'll listen for your spirit flying around One final thing I have left to say I love you my brother, forever always. Touching emotional poems written by Maaki Matthews, two words to the writer of this: "You Win" Really they're such deep and thoughtful little pieces of your mind and I had to put it up here I kinda stole them without her permission but yeah she'll get over it. The first poem is for cousin Crucy and "My Father" is written for Uncle Harry. |

The Passing of Crucy was heart wrenching to everyone a memorable quote would be "Forever in our hearts and Minds" Such a big loss to the whole family condolences to Uncle Harry, Aunty Kathy and cousins Maaki, Taru, and Remus. |
MY FATHER There is a person in my Life To me, he means the world. I treasure the Love he gives to me I stand proud to be his girl. This man has taught me all I know He's helped me live and learn There each time I look around Wherever I might turn I feel I owe him so much more Than I'll ever be able to give for he gave me the special gift of being able to live. He is my father, He is so strong Than a person could ever be He is my one and only Idle I want the world to see. This man he is so precious Without him I am alone for he holds the strength for all of us Yet as himself he doesn't know. He wanders through life's battered paths He crys along the way Yet he still finds time to laugh And look foward to the days As sorrows pass through our times I'm so honoured to have you "You are to me our strongest source of power in what we do" |
