On a sea of fear I'm floating
drifting out beyond
where I'm comfortable
My knowledge crumbles at this scene
I cannot decipher the meaning by the context
a gently wave crashing over my body
rush break recede
rush break recede
another sequence of sounds
I fail to heed
Blindly I drift
patient to reach a shore
but anxious yet
Please let it be THAT shore
--your shore
On a sea of fear I'm floating
gliding out across
all eternity
My knowledge crumbles at this scene
One moment suspended infinitly
before me
a soothing water rushes over me
rush break recede
rush break recede
this last intonation negligent
to what I really need
Aware now I swim
patient to reach your shore
and willing yet
to give you everything
