-The camera fades in to a starry night sky. There's not a cloud to be seen, but a strong wind can be heard forcing its way past the crumbling brick buildings whose rooftops become apparent as the camera pans down slowly towards ground level. As it reaches said point, it reveals a man donning long black robes and a cowl covering his features standing in front of a horribly gaudy building. This construction is quite silly looking, neon lights hang over a hideously fake plastic archway, reading "_atan's Ch_pel" with a symbol of Baphomet glowing underneath them. The S and A letters show little signs of life, save a momentary shower of sparks which land on the damp street and fade out. The camera stays steady on this decrepit scene, while we get treated to a voice-over.-

Aah, the stars. I was among them...once. It wasn't always like this for me...for a short while, I was floating in the nothingness of space with every dreamer looking up at me just wishing...wishing they could BE me. It came in a flash, however, my star stopped shining, as if someone had turned out a light. I was damned to THIS run-down hell-hole, preaching empty words to empty minds, and receiving blank stares as payment for my "deeds." Naturally, something was missing...something I could never find here, preaching to the dregs of society. I felt near powerless to do anything about it, though. Soon, doing what brought me down was the only lift I had, no, it was the ONLY thing I had. Two years after my flames were extinguished, I had almost forgotten what it felt like to shine so. Fortunately, for me, there were people who did not forget.

-The cloaked figure walks slowly forwards, never getting closer to the camera, however. For, as he moves, it moves. As it pans backwards, it eases through a large group of rather rag-tag people, looking a mite disconcerted. The man doesn't have as easy a time passing through the group as the camera, however. He is constantly plagued by people tugging at his robe, and making mournful acquisitions as to the certainty of a current action as of yet unknown.-

A small part of me is going to miss this. After two years of Hell, you grow accustomed to the place, and it's difficult to shed the behaviors learned to get from one day to the next. However, an opportunity arises, and I would be a fool not to reach out and grab it. Everything I've worked, sweat, and bled for depends on this...this CAW. Unfortunately, I didn't precisely walk into the land of milk and honey...the place doesn't even possess its own legs to stand on yet. My offer to stand as commissioner marks a return to my former greatness. I must embrace every chance I obtain. THAT is why I must do this...even as I know the federation may collapse in a few shows, leaving me with nothing to return to. Like the old cliche says: out with the old, in with the new. Who am *I* to argue with old cliches? Just a washed up deity with no flock to his name. But all that is about to change...

-With that, the mystery man pulls out a remote-control button from the folds in his robes. He turns around, and looks up at his chapel...the only place he's known for three years. With a sigh, his thumb comes down on the button, and an explosion rocks the chapel. For a brief moment, the features of the man are illuminated enough to tell from the promo shots that this man, this broken down bum is the illustrious comissioner of the CAW...the Messiah. Also illuminated by the fire is a single tear dropping downward from an amazingly deep socketed eye. A moment of near silence follows, broken only by the crackling of the flames, and the thump of several bricks hitting the ground. A loud sob emanates from one of the members of the crowd overlooking the result of the explosion. The Messiah walks towards the sobbing onlooker, and puts his hand on their shoulder, then speaks in a gravelly, yet soothing voice.-

Messiah: Everything must come to an end, my son. Take comfort in the knowledge that as one thing comes to pass, another begins. This symbolizes a new chapter in our life, and I GUARANTEE it will begin as this one ends...with a BANG!!

-The cloaked figure steps away from the crowd, and walks over to a pitch black Barracuda parked down the street. He gets in and drives off, leaving the gaggle of people stare mournfully at the slowly burning building that they have grown to love.-
