Well by now the Holidays are over and I hope you have had joyful Holidays and are ready for 2008. National’s Direct renewal notices for the third time for 2008 were mailed out on 12-12-07. Now is the time for each Post Commander, membership chairman, and membership committee team to go after these renewals. It also a time to go out and get NEW members.

In the District every Post has a goal of 100% plus membership which should be obtained ASAP. The District has Posts that are between 57% and 68% that Department has not received any membership since October 24, 2007. The District has 3 Posts that are 100% plus and I thank you’ll for your support.

20th District’s Spring Coffee Tour is scheduled for 8- 9 March 2008. The schedule is tentative the same as the Fall Coffee Tour. If a post would like to join or be removed from the Spring Coffee Tour, please notify me NLT the January 2008 District meeting on 9 JAN 08, being held at John F. Kennedy Post 485, 1930 hours. Attendance at the meeting has been lacking. Commanders, if you are unable to attend, send a post representative.
