Real Life Lifestyle Choice
"The Lifestyle" = sexual diversity. If you like your life as white as vanilla pudding, I am not for U.
Entry for October 14, 2006

Alex says that I am always so wordy. what I can say in a paragraph could just as easily be said in one sentence. He calls that the writer in me. :) I miss the days of writing my book.

It was our anniversary on October 10th. A year ago we  met for the first time. On paper that is. he sent me a message from a website called Plenty Of Fish.

I had joined the site as a bit of a lark, and I liked that there was lots of locals there. I felt that I could make some new local friends, and perhaps meet up with some fellow Lifestylers/paganists. I had no expectations of meeting someone that would affect me as much as Alex has this past year.

There has been many times where I have thought to set my feelings about him down, but they always seem so...soft for a crop flailing Domme.

I love how he knows about all my parts and finds them interesting and while he doesnt share all my interests, he has an open mind to them.

Last night he took me to dinner to a place of my choice, where he presented me with some papers which I found had our first POF conversations. I found out he had saved all our conversations. It was wonderful reading those first contacts and seeing the sparks that worked with us just on paper, and where they have taken us. then we had a drink at the place where we first met, and then, went for a walk to the place we first touched one another and felt our energy.

He looked amazing. He had dressed up for me and as he came towards the car...omg. Dressed in my favorite colors - long wool duster coat - he smelled delicious, and when I kissed him, he TASTED delicious too! He was one great experience to my senses. It was great.

He did surprise me last night, because I felt that he isnt one for anniversaries, and small sentimentalities. Gift giving to him feels like you should expect something back so he doesnt like to do that. he feels holidays are created for stores for financial gains, and not for realism. While I agree with that, It would be nice if he liked to get me things 'just cuz' sometimes. Buy on the other hand- there are some that feel that giving gifts is giving love. Alex knows the difference and he has given me 'himself' like nowone else. His touch. His words. The look in his eyes. His devotion to me. I have no doubt that my pleasure is all he looks for, and those that he loves.

I remember Brent and all his games, and I recall at first feeling guilty for moving on. I certainly dont now, and I am so relieved that I had common sense to look at what Alex really was vs what Brent grandstanded to me.

Yes. Speaking of Brent. It came to light this summer that he was a very  good player, and I am so glad that I have a few shreds of common sense to lay back on or I would have missed out  on this year with Alex and what we have moving forward.

well time to go shopping for blinds for the new place I am staying. and shelves.
