| :: about :: The Modern Sim The Modern Sim was created in June 2007 as a single-author website dedicated to contemporary style downloads for the Sims 2 PC game. I wanted a neat and organized way to share my creations with other gamers. I run this website on my own and all clothing content is made and copyrighted completely by me! Other custom content has been downloaded elsewhere, unless specified. * * All downloads come in a Sims2Pack file that work on both Mac and PC. When downloading, be sure the game is NOT running. Select a file and click on the thumbnail image or "download." The zip file will be saved in the directory which you specify. Extract the downloaded zip file. Double click on the Sims2Pack item and it will automatically install the content into your game. If you have any questions or problems with downloading please use this contact form. All clothing content is an original creation by ME, unless otherwise specified! Therefore, if you wish to display a sim or put a sim up for download wearing any of my custom clothing, it is only fair to credit me! To credit, simply place a link to The Modern Sim somewhere on your site. I do not ask for subscriptions or donations, so please do not abuse this one rule.
