So, what is exactly "The International Moose-Spotting Society" you're probably wondering right now!
To make the excitement a bit shorter, we'll teel you about it right

This society, grounded in 1997 by me, the unavoidable leader, is made with the purpose of spreading knowledge of the cute animal with VERY BIG feets known as alces alces (in english: elk, in american: moose, in danish: elg, in swedish: älg, in german: Elch, in french: élan (more tralslations are very welcome - just mail us -anytime, from anywhere)) to everyone, everywhere, and - in special cases - by every known -and unknown- methods.
Now, some of you might think: "Why that?", but don't wonder too much, 'cause every case have a purpose, and this is no exception.
The problem is, to put it shortly, that moose are only known in a restricted area, namely the area, consisting of these countries: Norway, Sweden, Finland, Canada, the northern part of USA... and maybe Russia too! (We haven't got any reports yet from KGB (our secret agent in Russia - his real name is Knuth George Birgasson !!!))
We've been wondering a lot about why there'e no moose outside this area, and finally, after 117 sleepless nights, we found out, that the reason why moose don't exist outside this areas is that nobody has ever been looking for them there!!!
And, as you might have guessed, it's THAT what we want YOU to do! - So if you see as much as a footprint, a moose on a motorbike hidden in a tree, an official moose-nose wiper or anything similar, report it in our guest-book and we'll note it down at our specially and newly designed "Moose Spots" page! This concerns both moose spotted inside, as well as outside the area mentioned somewhere else on this page !!!
