NPC Profile: Loui Hollander

You wait amongst the darkness and ruins for what seems like an hour, but
its not until you move to leave that you hear

"Du you know hew Saint Rifstane was."

The voice grates with you immediately. Born into wealth no doubt, the
voice is high and aristocratic, yet perhaps a bit nervous.

"They caalled him the hermit saint. A saint no less! And for hwhy?
Living alone a decade of years in a small damp grovel, an exile, staring
across the ocean from a miserable little isle. Mists, storms, waves,
loneliness and madness. They call that a miracle. Sounds like the work
of a halfwit!"

Now on to our next character profile. Those character profiles are
going to be useful real soon.

Character Profile: Louie Hollander

The famous bard Gerry True once had this to say about Louie Hollander:

"So far behind the scenes,

You saw him but never knew,

Beware this man of metal,

He is two steps ahead of you."

Louie Hollander is the wealthiest merchant in Hemro.

Louie first became wealthy when he bought the largest metal trading
house in Palace, just prior to Hemro first taking control of the Castle
Crags - an important series of metal mines in the border regions between
Hemro and Ballondale.

In the years following, Louie proceeded to use his dominant position in
the market to squeeze out competitors. He is known to maliciously
undercut or intimidate his opposition. However, if he can not
out-compete or intimidate competitors, he is rumoured to use any tactics
necessary to get his way.

However, his greatest malice is in the way he manipulates political
events to his advantage. Always behind the scenes, secretly, in the
shadows.
