Character Profile: Baron Milstone Baron Milstone is a lover of the finer things. Art, music, ancient artifacts, books his tastes are refined. His knowledge of the politics of the realm is second to none. But most of all Baron Milstone is sly. The Baron does not have a great deal of land. Neither does he have an army to speak of, preferring to spend his wealth on finery and collections or art and artifacts. The Baron's power and influence lays not in physical things, rather it lies in his superior political knowledge. Most of the Earls turn to Milstone for advice. And the Baron uses this to manipulate a favorable outcome. The Earl's are aware that the Baron is manipulative. However, they are also aware of how influential the Baron is, and understand that if they can convince the Baron to support them then they will automatically get the support of the many important nobles who regularly take the Baron's advice. Act 2: Although keen to aide Earl Manong on his way to the throne he was 'convinced' by Queen Margot to change sides and aide her - and her nephew Prince Archydor - instead. Using his influence he managed to change the minds of several key nobles and change the our chances in Battle from hopeless to slim. He is now somewhat disgraced for his close relationship with Earl Manong but still has money and influence aplenty, a man to watch for sure. created: 14 February 1998 | Last Updated: June 23, 2001 |
