Death of a Wyvern

Not long after the mists lifted from around the sea stacks a long, mournful note of a horn sounded.

Atop the battlements of the keep appeared a group of knights. Although blurred by the rain six men could be counted atop the battlements. The horn sounded again and the Wyvern leapt into the air with an enormous sound of beating wings, to investigate.

The Wyvern swooped upon the troop of knights atop the keep. Each time the raven would swoop, the nights would run and duck for cover, but then return to taunt the Wyvern with arrows and jeers.

Noa could be seen in the distance, taking the opportunity to climb across the sea stacks to join the party.

It was about this time that the clouds began to broil and swirl. The black clouds grew in density as the landscape became dark. As the Wyvern began a new descent upon the knights, the group of men parted to reveal a tall thin figure in white robes. He held his holy synbol aloft and called down bolts of lightning from the sky to fry the Wyvern in mid flight.

The corps of the Wyvern fell a great distance spiraling until finally it landed in the sea.

After a short pause the long, mournful note of the horn sounded again, this time accompanied by the cheering voices of knights.

Noa joins Pip and the Prince. They then consider joining the rest of the party.
