commuter train ticket
funny story: since i was only going to be in
gothenburg for a few days, i decided to take my chances by not buying a
travel card. the penalty for travelling without paying was a hefty
600sek ($102cad!) but those who know me know that i'm the type who loves
to live on the edge!
i'd be staying with megina & johannes the first night, but when mari arrives (the following night), we thought it would be best to stay at a hostel for the rest of our trip as we there wasn't enough room at megina & johannes' for all four of us, that and we didn't want to be an inconvenience. so, i was on the tram, at
the stop right before the one i was supposed to get off at, when i see
the ticket inspectors get on! i thought "great, they had to get on the
stop right before mine!" but they (they always travel in groups
of 3) got on at the head of tram and i was at the end (i purposely got
on the end so i could make a quick escape if i had to... living in
gothenburg for 5 months taught me a few things
so i played dumb and
showed them my airport bus ticket and pretended that i didn't know how
the system worked as i just got into town, they let me off but directed
me to a place where i can get a travel card and as i got off. they tried
to make sure i was gonna go get one, but i slipped out of their range of
view
now this is where it gets interesting... the next day megina and i decided to go to ikea and to do so we have to take the commuter train to |
