Out of Chaos... Beauty

People all around me,
Then why do I feel so alone?
This is supposed to be fun they say,
So why would I rather be home?

Everyone runs about in a hurry,
No time to just stop and rest;
Not caring about others around them,
Or trying to do their best.

Chaos all around me,
I feel it pressing on;
Then just in an instant,
The feeling is over and gone.

I see him from across the room,
This man with a soul so bright;
In the midst of my feeling of darkness,
He's a beacon of shining light!

Who would have thought it would happen,
From out of the shadows he came;
His heart touched something within me,
I will never again be the same.
