Wembley

As you may know Wembley has been under going some changes in order to increase its size and capacity. It was once the most famous stadium in England , and possibly in Europe  but now not much remains as construction gets underway.

This is what England and its football is famous for. The twin towers have been standing for over 50 years and it was a sad day when the FA decided that it was time for a change.

Many fans from all over the world came flocking into the four stands of Wembley to watch some of the greatest teams in the world come face to face in London.

The nation was cheered up when in late 2001 the proposes Wembley was shown on the news for thefirst time.The new stadium was said to have a retractable roof and floor with pitch heating.

We wish England the best of luck in their new stadium which is said to be built by 2006 . Very posh isnt it.
