Desert Rose Part One

"Xerxes, my life is drawing to a close. I don't have much time left. My power
is draining the very life out of me and there is nothing I can do to stop
it.....I'm dying."

"Master leaving?"

"Yes, you dolt. No matter what I've tried, nothing seems to have any effect.
I tried to take that street rat's body, but it failed. I've tried every spell
I know of. There is nothing left to cure me."

"Nothing?"

"NOTHING!"

Mozenrath walked over to his massive collection of books. They were just as
important to him as his gauntlet. They contained every spell, curse,
definition, and power secret known, but no spell or information of how to
cure Mozenrath. He had looked through them all to find any useful advice or
counter spell that could save him.

As he flipped through the pages in despair, he sighed to himself and picked
up the book. In pure rage he swore and threw the book against the wall. It
hit with a hard thump and fell to the ground leaving an echo throughout the
Citadel.

Mozenrath clutched his head and sank to the floor. He wiped his sweat off his
brow and hunkered down.  Xerxes flew behind a statue, trying to keep himself
out of harm in case of another temper out burst from his master.

"That's it. All of my time, pain, and power will go to waste. Nothing will
matter anymore and everything I have striven to achieve.......will be lost.
Just as Destane. Only he had someone to take over when he left, me. But I
ruined it for him and over threw him before he had the chance to enjoy it."
Mozenrath paused and thought about how Destane had shared all his power
secrets with him and taught him everything.

Mozenrath wouldn't even exist without the aid of Destane. All his power still
lived on in Mozenrath and because of that, he was always there. "That's it!
It's the only way that's left. I have nothing else to try."

Mozenrath picked himself up and straightened out his clothes. He walked over
to the book he threw and gently put it in it's proper place in the bookshelf.
He sighed and walked over to his window that over looked all of his kingdom,
in the distance he could see a small glowing light. "Agrabah." He said
through his clenched teeth and turned around. He walked over to he favorite
chair behind his desk and sat down.

"Master have plan?" Xerxes asked as he slithered out from behind the statue.
He cautiously approached his master, keeping out of reach.

"Yes, I do. Even when I die, my power will live on. Through.......my heir. I
will teach it all I know and the key to my power. But it will learn from my
mistakes and I will teach my child how to use my gauntlet without having to
give their hand for it." He said grimly as he uncovered his skeleton hand
underneath the glove. He caressed his hand and covered it up once again.

"Master.....no have heir."

"Not yet I don't." Mozenrath sighed again and looked around his library. He
rested his head on his hands and tightly shut his eyes.

"When have heir?"

Mozenrath opened his eyes almost angry at the eel for disturbing his
thoughts. "When I get a wife."

"Who be wife, master?"

"Well, I need someone athletic, agile, strong, beautiful, and young." He
paused and looked back out towards his window. He looked back at the light
that shined way out into the desert and took in a deep breath. "I need the
princess." He said as he sighed deeply.

Although he was somewhat attracted to her, he never thought of her as his
wife. He knew she would never come on her own free will and that pesky street
rat wouldn't let him have her, but he knew he had to try.

"Princess? But princess with --"

"I KNOW XERXES! I just need to have her here long enough for me to have an
heir. After that I'll let her go or kill her, which ever I feel like. By
then, it won't matter. All that will matter is training my child."

"How master get princess?"

"I'll make her an offer she can't refuse." Mozenrath laughed to himself and
got up out of his chair. He walked backed over to the dilapidated window and
gazed at the light and grinned.

Part Two

"Aladdin! Stop it! I need to concentrate!" Jasmine giggled as she tried to
read her book in the library. She was trying to be a serious as she could,
but Aladdin was doing everything he knew to try and divert her attention from
the book to him.

"Oh, come on Jasmine! Let's go do something! Ya know....like look for a
treasure, stop a monster, the usual." Aladdin grinned as he sat next to her
on the couch.

"That's more your thing." She said trying to hide her laughter. "Besides, I
have to brush up on my reading. It's been ages since I've studied my books."

Aladdin sighed in disappointment. Most of the time he could get her to change
her mind, but she was consistent this time, so he gave up. He leaned back
against the couch pillows and looked back at Jasmine who continued to read.

"All right, I go and leave you to your studies." Aladdin said with a hint of
sarcasm in his voice.

"I promise to make it up to you, " Jasmine smiled at him and gave him a quick
kiss. "How about tonight?"

"Great!........about six?"

"Sounds perfect!" Jasmine said. Aladdin leaned in for another kiss, but
Jasmine stopped him.

"Uh uh uh! Not until tonight." Jasmine grinned at him and gently pushed him
away.

"All right, all right have it your way." Aladdin smiled and the gave her a
quick kiss on her cheek. Jasmine giggled and Aladdin got up to leave. He
walked through the library and waved to her. "See you at six!"

"Okay!" Jasmine shouted back and watched him leave. She sighed and returned
to her book. It was mostly a law book that contained various tidbits on other
lands and their policies.

Just as Jasmine was getting up to get another book, a bright blue and black
flash blinded her and made her turn away. As quickly as it came, it
disappeared. As she turned, she saw a man in black and gold trim clothes
standing before her.

"Mozenrath!?" Jasmine screamed, but before she could say anymore, he grabbed
her and swung his cape over them and with the same bright light, they
vanished. The book Jasmine was holding fell to the floor and the slam of it
bounced around the library with a faint echo. No one heard Jasmine's cry or
the book hitting the stone below. The library was in a wing of the palace
that was rarely watched by a guard.

Jasmine didn't even noticed she was gone from Agrabah until she opened her
eyes and found herself in Mozenrath's study. There weren't as many books in
his as there were in Agrabah's, but they also didn't contain much on other
lands and laws.

"Mozenrath! What do you want now!?" Jasmine yelled at him trying to keep her
voice as steady as she could. It wasn't Mozenrath that scared her, it was his
power.

"You'll find out soon enough, all though I'm not sure you want to." Mozenrath
chuckled and snapped his fingers. Out of nowhere six mamluks appeared and
dragged Jasmine away. She kicked and tried to pull away, but there were too
many of them.

Part Three

The mamluks threw her into a room and closed the door. Before she could reach
it she heard the lock turning, and finally click, sealing her in the room.
She banged on the door with her fists and tried to open it, but no avail what
so ever.

Jasmine finally gave up for the moment and turned around to look at the room.
It was rather large, but not as big as hers at home. The bed was enormous and
had a black comforter with the same gold trim as Mozenrath's clothes, only it
was thicker. There were various candles lit and they gave the room and eerie
glow that made her shiver.

The desk stand next to the bed was diminutive compared to the bed and didn't
seem to match. She walked over to the closet and opened it using the small
dusty brass handles on the doors. Inside were dozens of outfits, that seemed
to be made perfectly for Jasmine. She fingered through them and closed the
doors.

She walked back over to the bed and sat down with a deep sigh. "I wish I
would've gone with Aladdin." She placed her hand on the comforter, it was
actually very soft. She shuttered away thinking again of Mozenrath and got up
and walked over to the door.

She pulled and pushed, but nothing worked. She groaned and kicked the door in
despair. Jasmine walked back over to the bed and took off her crown as she
sat down. She fingered the blue jewel in the center and ran her fingers along
the soft brim.

"You like your room Princess?" Mozenrath spoke up as he leaned against a wall
in a corner of the room. His features were hidden in the shadows, but Jasmine
didn't need to see him to know who was there.

"What do you want from me, you snake!?" Jasmine yelled as she stood up and
put her crown back on her head. She crossed her arms and held her chin up
high to give Mozenrath the impression she wasn't afraid, but he could see it
in her eyes.

"You'll find out at dinner. My mamluks will escort you later...around five,
all will be explained." Mozenrath picked up his cape and just as he began to
lift he looked at her again. "Oh, and dress more appropriate. You're in my
land now, dress like it!" His words echoed through her room and he finally
disappeared.

Jasmine glared in the direction Mozenrath was, but he was already gone. She
got up and went back over to the closet. "I might as well go along with it,
but only for now." Jasmine opened the closet and shuffled through the clothes
again. She finally came upon a black outfit with a royal blue trim and it had
a velvet feeling to it. It was just like all her other clothes at home, but
they were all brighter colors.

It was a two piece with the same type of baggy pants that she wore. With it
came silver shoes that matched perfectly and also had a silver necklace. She
changed and put everything on, but the necklace. She didn't want to take off
her locket Aladdin had given to her. She placed her crown on the tiny night
stand and fixed her hair up into a high ponytail.

She folded up her sea green clothes and placed them next to the closet,
planning to change as soon as she arrived back from dinner. Just as she
finished, the door squeaked open slowly, and mamluks stood in the doorway.
They motioned for her to come and she gathered her composer. She walked out
of the room and followed the gross un-dead mamluks.

When she entered the dinning room, it was well lit with candles and the
spread of food was very large. There was every type of food Jasmine could
imagine. Mozenrath sat at the other end of the table looking over Jasmine's
outfit with pleasure. Jasmine sat down, opposite of Mozenrath and watched his
every move.

"I like that outfit on you Princess, it's very attractive." Mozenrath said to
her as he grinned.

Jasmine glared at him and didn't reward him with a reply. She looked around
the room and then back at Mozenrath.  "What do you want from me Mozenrath!?"
She yelled and slammed her fist down on the table.

"Easy Princess, easy." Mozenrath said to her as he put some food in his
mouth. "Eat. I'm sure you'll like it."

"No thanks." Jasmine spoke irritated and through clenched teeth and slumped
back in her chair. She eyed the food and it did look very appealing and
delicious, but she didn't know what could be in it. She pushed the plate in
front of her away and watched Mozenrath's reaction.

"You'll eat soon enough. You can't starve."

"Watch me. Now Mozenrath, tell me why you've brought me here." Jasmine said
as calm and politely as she could, but anger still crept through her voice.

"All right, if you must know. I.....need you." Mozenrath placed his fork down
and watched Jasmine.

"Need me for what?" Jasmine asked, still keeping her calmness

"I need and heir." Mozenrath muttered out with his head down. He knew she
wouldn't willingly accept or even tolerate anything Mozenrath wanted,
especially something like this.

"A what!? From me!? You have got some nerve Mozenrath! I will never -"

"You will do as your told Princess, if you want your street rat to stay
alive! I will go out there, hunt him down and slice his throat. It's not that
hard to do. But I believe in sport and killing him off like that would be too
easy, but then again, it's all up to you." Mozenrath screamed at her. He
stood up and placed his hands on the table.

Jasmine felt sick. He stomach churned and twisted. She felt her chest tighten
and her heart seemed to stop. She looked up at Mozenrath and then down at her
hands. They were shaking and her arms had turned paler and white.

"Now look, I need an heir because I don't have much time left. So there for,
I need to pass on my power. I don't trust anyone I know, so I figure, I'll
have a child to pass everything on to. Guess what Jasmine, you won."

"You can't. You....-" Jasmine couldn't say anymore. Her throat closed and cut
off her voice. She felt like she was going to throw up or die. Either way,
she didn't care at this point.

Mozenrath watched her and decided to say no more. He figured she had enough.
He snapped his fingers once more and the mamluks appeared and took her back
to her room. Mozenrath sighed and went to his room. Jasmine didn't fight with
the mamluks as they dragged her away, she was still in shock. They once again
locked her in the room.

She just ran into the room and crashed on the bed and sobbed. She wiped away
her tears after a while and changed back into her normal clothes. She
fingered with the locket and thought of Aladdin.

Part Four

Aladdin entered the palace and searched around for Jasmine. No one had seen
her since earlier that morning when Aladdin was there before. He went off
towards the library to search for her. ~Maybe she's really caught up in her
books. ~ Aladdin thought to himself and walked into the library. Nothing.

Aladdin walked over to the couch he and Jasmine sat on before and picked up
the book that Jasmine was reading that was on the floor. He looked at it and
lifted one eyebrow.

"Something isn't right here." Aladdin said to himself as he placed the book
on a nearby table. He went into his sash and pulled out a lamp. He rubbed the
side of it and a blue smoke slithered out.

"Yo! What's up Al? Ooo the library, ever read Yertle the Turtle? I like that
one."

"Genie, Jasmine's missing. She just disappeared. We were supposed to meet for
a date, and I can't find her anywhere."

"Hmmm, hold on." Genie flashed in a metal detector and searched all over the
room. When he came to the couch, it started blinking even faster. "Al, you're
not going to like this."

"What Genie? What is it?"

"Well, there's a lot of sand over here, black sand." Genie told him as the
metal detector vanished. Aladdin's look turned from worried to angry within
seconds and he whistled for Carpet. He and Iago and Abu came within seconds.

"Al, I don't think it's a good idea to go there with rug-man. Magic detectors
remember?"  Genie reminded him and zapped in one as a model.

"Oh yeah. Okay, can you get me a horse, or something non-magical?"

"What is going on here!?" Iago interrupted

"Mozenrath took Jasmine." Aladdin informed them as Genie zapped in a horse.
Aladdin mounted it and looked at Genie.

"Here, I don't want Xerxes to know I have it. Abu, you wanna come?" Aladdin
said as he handed Genie's lamp to him. Abu nodded and jumped on Aladdin's
shoulder "If I'm gone longer than a week, come for us." With that Aladdin
took off into the desert off towards the land of the black sand.

"Have any of you seen Jasmine?" The Sultan's voice came from behind the
remaining guys. Genie wasn't sure what to tell him.

"Her and Aladdin.....um......went to Ganastan." Genie fibbed. He knew that
the Sultan would send armies and troops if he knew the truth and that would
put Al, Jas, and Abu all in danger if Mozenrath knew that the Sultan realized
his daughter was missing.

"Oh, okay. Odd, I don't remember her telling me that." The Sultan mumbled on
as he left the room. Genie sighed and looked at the other two. They all
headed back home in hopes Aladdin and the others would return soon.

Part Five

Jasmine tried to stay calm as she sat in the room, but her emotions kept
getting the best of her. She didn't know what to do, everything was going so
fast, she felt dizzy and sick. She knew she couldn't possibly even think to
chose to have Aladdin suffer because of her. Nor did she want to marry and
have a child with that rat.

"What am I going to do?" Jasmine asked her self as another tear fell down her
cheek. Her whole life seemed ruined to her, as if nothing she could do would
ever make her happy.

It was dusk from what Jasmine could tell, it was always dark in the Land of
the Black Sand, so she wasn't exactly sure what time it was. There were no
windows in her room, just the door. Jasmine looked around the room, and
wished there was someone there to talk to.

"Have you made up your decision Princess?" Mozenrath appeared in front of her
and smiled.

"Leave me alone Mozenrath! Go find another girl!"

"Sorry, I chose you. Now....what is it going to be? A new fiancee or....a
dead one?"

Mozenrath's words shot threw her like swords. She had to stay with him. She
slowly looked up at Mozenrath and glared at him.

"You win." She muttered and felt her eyes water up again. He throat closed
and she could hear her heart pounding in her ears. Her tears came out like
waterfalls and she could hear herself sobbing, but she didn't feel it.

"Wise decision." Mozenrath said to her and he lifted up her chin so they
could be eye to eye. She opened her heavy eye lids and found herself only
inches away from Mozenrath. "The wedding is in a week." Mozenrath told her
ruthlessly and held her head up by her hair. He leaned in even farther in and
kissed her hard on the lips. It was cruel and horrible.

He finally pulled away leaving Jasmine gasping for air. She turned away and
swore at him. With another blinding flash Mozenrath faded into the darkness.
Jasmine brought her knees up to her chest and rested her head on them. She
cried for hours or minutes, she couldn't tell.

~Aladdin will come once he knows I'm missing.~ Jasmine thought to herself,
but then quickly took it back. If he did come, who knows what Mozenrath would
do to him.

Part Six

Abu and Aladdin raced through the desert on the black horse. It didn't take
that long to reach the Land of the Black Sand, but as soon as they noticed
the gold and the black sand swirling together, they dismounted the horse and
continued on foot. They were pretty sure Mozenrath would notice them if they
came in to his kingdom riding a horse.

As soon as the first building came into view, Aladdin and Abu climbed up the
side and made their way onto the roof. That way, mamluks couldn't see them
and they'd have surprise on their side. Roof by roof the jumped, one by one
and didn't make much noise at all except for the occasional shuffling of
feet. Finally, the Citadel came into full view and they were only a couple
roof tops away from the entrance.

The line of buildings ended and they had to set foot of the ground once
again. They landed on the ground with no more than a thud. Aladdin and Abu
cautiously looked around for mamluks but saw no one.

As they approached the Citadel, Abu hid under Aladdin's vest and tried to
contain his shaking. Aladdin stared up at the oversized doors and looked at
the two snakes on the front. He placed his hands on the handles, and pulled.
He expected it to be heavy and have to strain to open them, but it released
with ease. Through the small opening he made he walked through and silently
closed the massive door behind him.

He walked along the wall and chose to go down the closet hallway to him.
Aladdin took each step with caution, not quite knowing what he might set off
or stumble upon. He only had a few dim lights to illuminate his walk. As he
turned another corner, he saw several mamluks in front of two doors to a
room. He quickly jumped back and crouched behind the wall so he could watch
without being spotted.

"Maybe Jasmines in there Abu." Aladdin whispered to him as he finally came
out of hiding. Aladdin watched the mamluks more and looked for Mozenrath. "Wha
tever is in that room, Jasmine or not, it must be important enough to have
extra security." Aladdin whispered again to Abu who nodded in agreement.

Aladdin thought of the best way to get into the room, but his thoughts were
interrupted. As Aladdin looked carefully at the doors, a bright light seemed
to emanate from inside. He saw it from the crack under the doors between it
and the marble floor. As quickly as it appeared, it dissolved.

Aladdin listened to what her could hear, but it wasn't much, he heard
indistinct chatter coming from inside. It seemed to only be one voice, and
then after a few moments, a second spoke up, and then a third. Aladdin leaned
in closer to hear better, but drew back suddenly as the doors exploded open
with a loud crash as the hit the walls.

Abu, startled by the explosion, hid back under Aladdin's vest and began to
shake again. Aladdin continued to watch as Mozenrath left the room and walked
down the hallway with Xerxes flying right behind him. A few mamluks followed
them, but the rest waited for the third to leave the room.

"Don't touch me!" Jasmine yelled at the mamluks as she yanked her arm out of
their reach. She walked on, following Mozenrath. Aladdin wanted to run up and
hold her tight, but he figured Mozey wouldn't like that too much. Aladdin
started off after them in the direction they went when they all became out of
sight.

When he came only a few feet from the doors to the room they all went into,
Aladdin felt a strong force pull of him and finally lift him in the air. Abu
jumped off in time and hid behind a nearby pillar watching Aladdin helplessly.

Everything went black. He couldn't see, hear, smell, or touch anything. But,
could he feel it. It felt like hundreds of daggers digging into his spine. He
drifted into the room, and just when he thought he was going to pass out from
the pain, he suddenly fell to the floor. The doors slammed behind him and
locked, leaving Abu outside.

Aladdin moaned and clutched his head in pain, his senses were finally
returning, but as soon as he tried to stand his legs felt like Jell-O and he
fell again. When his hearing returned, he heard Jasmine's sweet voice calling
him. Aladdin opened his eyes and saw her wrists shackled up to a wall above
her head.

He tried standing again and with a hard effort, he did it. "Jasmine.......are
you ok?" Aladdin managed to ask through the pain as he finally stood up
straight.

"I think so." Jasmine told him and a faint smile crept across her face.
Aladdin started to walk over to her, but forgot about Mozenrath and out of
nowhere was knocked to the ground by another blast.

"Mozenrath! You --" Jasmine began to yell at him, but her raised his hand to
quiet her, but kept his eyes on Aladdin who was coughing and trying to get
up. Mozenrath smiled and walked over to Aladdin was at.

"Do you really think you can just waltz into *my* citadel without my
knowing!?"

He got about three feet away and stopped. He looked down at Aladdin and
burst out laughing. So much that he clutched his side and wiped his eye
pretending a tear was there from laughing too much.

"What the hell........is so funny?" Aladdin gasped out at he too held his
side, but from sheer pain.

Mozenrath stopped laughing after a few moments and looked down at him lying
on the floor. "You came to save your precious fiancee, but......oh wait!
She's not *your* fiancee, she mine!" Mozenrath bluntly told him.

"What?" Aladdin questioned Mozenrath as he glared up at him, trying to hide
his obvious pain.

"She's going to marry me now. I've chosen her to be my wife in a weeks time."

"Over my dead body!!" Aladdin screamed at him as he tried again to stand, but
lost his balance, fell, and grabbed his sides in pain.

"If that's what you chose, so be it. I don't have problems with granting last
requests." Mozenrath sneered at Aladdin as he walked closer to him with every
step.

Part Seven

"No! Mozenrath! Stop!" Jasmine pleaded as she saw Mozenrath lift up his
gauntlet. It started to glow it's normal blue and black flame. It grew
brighter every second and Mozenrath finally brought it down, striking Aladdin
with a powerful blast. It was more than he had every been hit with before and
he was already so weak. It knocked him out cold.

"Aladdin.......Aladdin!!" Jasmine screamed as she watched him lye there
helplessly and weak. He was very venerable and one more blast could put him
out for good. Mozenrath knew that too, but he wasn't done having fun with
Aladdin. He walked over to Xerxes and pointed to Aladdin.

"Look for the lamp." Mozenrath commanded him as he walked over to his window
turning his back to the others in the room.

Xerxes swam over to a motionless Aladdin and sniffed around his waist
searching for the smell of magic.

"No lamp."

"Good. Great view huh?" Mozenrath asked Jasmine as he motioned outside
changing the subject abruptly. It was very clear at this point that he was
taking his time with Aladdin and waiting for him to awake. "Ahhh, too bad, I
thought killing him off would be much more of a challenge."

"You said you wouldn't kill him Mozenrath!" Jasmine yelled in fury at him as
she watched Aladdin slowly regain consciousness.

"No, I said I wouldn't go out a kill him. He chose to invade my kingdom, and
all trespassers must be prosecuted!"

Aladdin moaned and sat up, leaning against his arm. With his other, he rubbed
his eyes, and let them come into focus. Mozenrath smiled again and walked
over to Aladdin. But this time, he didn't use his gauntlet, he pulled back he
leg and kicked him as hard as he could in the stomach. Aladdin gasped as he
tumbled backwards a couple feet and came to a rest, coughing and holding his
side even tighter taking in deep breaths of air with each gasp.

His stomach burned and tightened. Mozenrath walked closer to him again, and
did the same thing, harder than before with all his strength and might. This
time, Aladdin came to rest against a wall, on his back. He panted hard,
trying to catch his breath. Jasmine screamed for Aladdin, but everything was
a blur and all sounds and movements blended together making him disoriented
and extremely dizzy.

"Poor, poor, Aladdin. It's a shame." He began as he walked over to him.
Mozenrath bent down and picked up Aladdin by his vest, lifting his head
closer to Mozenrath's. "But don't worry..." He leaned in even closer and
whispered to him in his ear. "I'll take *real* good care of Jasmine for you."
Aladdin's eyes went large and then glared at Mozenrath.

Aladdin used his anger to fuel him and shocked everyone when he leapt to his
feet, knocking Mozenrath to the floor. He cussed at Mozenrath, and it caught
Jasmine by surprise, she never heard him use those kinds of words before. The
tone of his voice sent shivers through Xerxes blood and he decided the best
thing to do was to hide.

Aladdin thought he had enough strength, but his energy was low and he fell to
the floor again in pain from his stomach. Mozenrath was really angered now
and snapped his fingers. Mamluks appeared and grabbed Aladdin, he didn't put
up much of a fight. He couldn't. "Put him in a cell downstairs."

"Wait, I want him to think about something while he's in my dungeon."
Mozenrath motioned for the mamluks to wait and they held Aladdin up on his
feet. Mozenrath zapped in manacles around Jasmine's ankles so she couldn't
move them either. She tested them and pulled, but she couldn't break free of
them.

Mozenrath made sure that Aladdin was watching and walked over to Jasmine. He
held her head up by her hair again, the more she struggled, the harder he
pulled. "Leave me alone Mozenrath!" Jasmine yelled at him. But Mozenrath
didn't listen and he leaned in and gave her another hard kiss on her lips.
She tried to move but couldn't.

"MOZENRATH! LEAVE HER ALONE! STOP IT! " Aladdin screamed as soon as he saw
him kissing her. It made his stomach boil and his heart pound to see anyone
else kissing her, and Mozenrath was even worse.

Mozenrath pulled away and sighed letting go of Jasmine's hair leaving her to
breathe deeply for air. "Mmmmm. I think I'll like having her as my wife."
Mozenrath smiled and motioned them to take Aladdin away. He struggled again,
but gave up and let them take him away. "You're going to pay for that
Mozenrath!" Aladdin screamed as they dragged him down the hallway.

"I don't think so, it's all going to get better as this goes on." Mozenrath
said as he smiled at Jasmine who turned away in disgust.

Part Eight

Abu watched as they carried Aladdin off and followed carefully. Once they
reached the dungeon, they threw Aladdin in a cell and locked the door. Abu
hid in the darkness of a corner and waited until all the mamluks disappeared.
Abu crept through the dim room and over to Aladdin's cell.

He was looking horrible and already had a deep dark bruise from where
Mozenrath had kicked him. His vision was making everything into two and he
had a hard time focusing on anything for a little while. Abu approached the
door to his cell and climbed up to the lock and started working on it right
away.

Aladdin's vision improved more and more every second and he finally made out
Abu. "Abu! I wondered what happened to you." Aladdin whispered to him as he
walked over to the door eagerly awaiting Abu to open the door. With a final
click, the door swung open and Aladdin walked forward and picked Abu off the
door, setting him on his shoulder.

"We have to get back up there to Jasmine and get her out of here. Fast!" Aladd
in crept through the dungeon and went down many passageways, he seemed lost
after a while. "None of this seems familiar Abu, I don't remember any of
this. I think we're lost." Aladdin sighed as he turned another corner. It
seemed hopeless, they were wandering in circles no matter how may different
turns they took. It was dark and musty in there and always in the distance
they could hear screams of torture and pain.

Every once in a while a stray mamluk would pass by, but Aladdin would leap
into a dark corner or behind a slab of stone just in time to escape being
spotted. It was cold and there was a draft blowing through there that didn't
seem to make any sense in it what so ever. They're way out in the middle of
the desert and there's a cold draft?

Nothing seemed to make sense in there anymore. There were three long deep
scratching in the stone on a wall, and Aladdin was sure he had passed the
same piece of scratches on a wall before, so to make sure, he added another
to the three with a small rock on the ground, and would count if he came upon
another set like it.

They turned, and twisted around corners, went down long hallways that had a
light at the end, but always seemed to fade when they reached the end of the
tunnel. It was obvious Mozenrath made it like this so if you ever did escape,
you would still be trapped.

"There must be a....switch..a secret door, anything that can get us out of
here Abu." Aladdin said to him as the rounded another corner. Aladdin stopped
as he came across three scratches, and the same fourth one he had made. "He's
leading us in circles." Aladdin sighed as he sat down and leaned up against a
wall.

When he leaned against the wall, he heard a small rumbling sound coming from
within the wall. Abu screech and jumped off Aladdin's shoulder as the wall
moved back and opened. Once the wall stopped moving Aladdin got up and looked
into the doorway. There were a series of stars leading up and seemed to end
at another door with light shining from inside.

Aladdin smiled and grabbed Abu. He quickly ran up the stairs, just in time to
see the door that he had mistakenly opened, close with a loud thud. Aladdin
took the door knob in his hands and slowly turned it, hoping not to create to
much noise and attention. He opened the door and peered outside.

He was in a room in the Citadel. It was the same room he remember being
dragged through by the mamluks, but his vision had been severely blurred and
he couldn't make out much. No one was in the room, but it was very
impressive, even for Mozenrath. It had a large fireplace in the along a wall
in the center and a large portrait of Mozenrath hung above it.

There were pedestals with different objects on each one and they all seemed
to have an important value to Mozenrath to put on such a display for each
object. Aladdin cautiously walked through the enormous room and walked out
the door. He looked around the hall, there wasn't anyone in sight, living or
non. Aladdin walked by the same room and hallway that Mozenrath caught
Aladdin.

He turned the next corner and saw the same mamluks watching Jasmine's room
again. He crouched down in his same spot and was deciding the best thing to
do. Draw attention, or wait? Wait. He realized though he didn't have much
time once Mozenrath noticed he had escaped the dungeon and he could hunt him
down with the snap of his bony finger.

Aladdin watched the mamluks, and noticed Mozenrath coming down the hall.
Since he had a better chance of seeing Aladdin, he hid completely behind the
wall and listened as best he could.

"Is the door locked?" Mozenrath asked the mamluk standing in front of the
door.

"Mmm."

"Good, than you're not needed here. All of you come. We have a wedding *and*
and execution to plan for." Mozenrath told them with a chuckle and motioned
them to follow. "I think he means us Abu." Aladdin whispered as he turned
slightly and watched. As fast as the un-dead can move, they followed their
master and once they were gone, Aladdin crept out of hiding.

Aladdin walked carefully up to the room and placed his ear on the door to
listen to what was inside, he was pretty sure it was Jasmine. He heard faint
sobs and realized it *had* to be Jasmine. Abu had already started working on
the lock and when it finally opened, Aladdin slowly pushed the door, opening
it.

"LEAVE! I don't want to talk to you! EVER! I hate you...you rat!" Jasmine
spoke trying to hide her sobs but her throat choke up and she began to cry
again with her back to the door, unaware of who was there. Aladdin figured
that and waited for the door behind him to shut before he spoke up.

"Jasmine?" Aladdin gently spoke barley above a whisper. Jasmine swung around
immediately sure of who was there and ran over to him.

"Aladdin! I...I thought..." Jasmine didn't finish, she just ran into his arms
and hugged him.

"Shhh, Jasmine. We have to be quiet. Mozey doesn't know I'm here." Aladdin
told her, still hugging her.

"But how? You were..."

"This hairy little thief got me out." Aladdin told her as he petted Abu,
sitting on his shoulder again. Jasmine smiled graciously at Abu and looked
back Aladdin.

"Are you all right? You looked horrible out there!" Jasmine asked him, worry
filled in her voice as she searched his eyes for pain.

Aladdin wiped away her tears and smiled at her. "I'm fine. It hurt, but
Mozenrath under estimates me. Are you ok?"

"Yeah, I'm fine, my wrists are soar, but I'll be fine." Jasmine rubbed her
wrists, they were red and her skin was ruff from rubbing and pulling against
the hard and tight metal.

"I'm going to get him for what he did to you." Aladdin said with anger in his
voice recalling the ruthless kiss he forced on Jasmine.

"Not if I get him first." Jasmine chuckled slightly and looked back up at
Aladdin

"We have to get out of here, Jasmine, now!"

"I know. Let's go! I can't stand this place one more minute!"

Out of another corner of the room, Mozenrath spoke up. "Oh, you're going be
here longer than a minute, much longer."

Part Nine

They turned and gasped at the sight of Mozenrath. He walked closer to them,
and Aladdin instinctively put himself between the two and glared at
Mozenrath. Mozenrath smiled looking at Aladdin and took another step closer.

Aladdin glanced back at Jasmine and then turned to Mozenrath. He took a step
closer to him and became only two feet apart. Aladdin pulled back and punched
Mozenrath square in the jaw. He fell back a couple of feet and stumbled
catching his balance and rubbing his chin.

"That was for what you did to her. I told you I'd get you for it." Aladdin
told him with pure rage in his voice as he returned to Jasmine's side. She
smiled proudly at Aladdin and then watched Mozenrath regain his balance and
quietly placed her hand in Aladdin's. He noticed it was cold as ice and she
was shaking a little.

"Big mistake street rat!" Mozenrath glared at him as he gathered his
composure and stood up straight. He brought his hands together and squeezed
them tight. As he did that Aladdin fell to the floor grasping his sides in
pain. Jasmine gasped and went down to his side.

"Aladdin? Are you ok?"

He couldn't answer her, and after a few more seconds, he passed out from the
tremendous pain. Mozenrath grinned. He snapped his fingers together and four
mamluks appeared. Two of them grabbed Jasmine and the others took Aladdin
away. Jasmine screamed and fought and struggled to get free, but just as she
thought she was succeeding, shackles appeared around her feet and wrists.

She sighed in defeat and let them take her away, following Mozenrath. The
entered the room where the previous battle had been and Jasmine got a chill
down her spine for thinking about it.

Aladdin was still unconscious and the mamluks dropped him on the floor in the
middle and they vanished. Jasmine began to struggle again and she tried
everything that she could to break free. Mozenrath clapped his hands together
twice and the mamluks around Jasmine suddenly were gone and the door they had
just enter through slammed shut.

With a sinister smile on his face and his hand rubbing his chin, Mozenrath
walked over to Jasmine and circled her twice.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk, that outfit will never do princess." Mozenrath told her as he
stopped walking a looking over her normal two piece sea green outfit.

He waved his hands over Jasmine and she was suddenly in a white gown with a
gold and black swirled trim. The top was a V cut and the sleeves were cut
perfectly to fit her. On her head was a black and blue crown and she had a
gold necklace on, her locket was gone. The shackles also were go and Jasmine
rubbed her wrists.

"Wha......." Jasmine was speechless as she looked over the outfit. Her heart
was pounding and her blood went cold.

"That wedding gown will work." Mozenrath smiled admiring his work, as he
twisted his hand around revealing a bouquet of black and blue flowers and
handed them to Jasmine.

"I will NEVER marry you!" She screamed backing away from him. She took off
the crown on her head and threw it at him as hard as she could. It
disappeared in mid flight and re appeared in Mozenrath's hands.

"If that's how you feel." Mozenrath sighed.  He twirled his hands and the
flowers and the crown disappeared. "I'm really hurt princess...." he sighed
again. "but not as hurt and Aladdin will be." He slowly lifted his lips into
a smile and lifted his gauntlet letting the power gather and grow into a blue
flame light.

Jasmine knew what was next whenever Mozenrath did that.

"STOP!" Jasmine cried as she put her hand out and walked cautiously over to
Mozenrath. She looked at Aladdin and then up at Mozenrath. A tear trickled
down her cheek and she sighed. "I'll do it."

Part Ten

"I knew you would." Mozenrath smiled and let the power rush fade away.
Jasmine silently sighed to herself in relief and looked at Mozenrath.

"Here." He handed her the crown and the flowers once again. Jasmine swallowed
hard and took them from him. She put the crown back on and held the flowers
in her left hand.

With a long sweep of his arm over the room, an alter appeared, flowers, a
half dead minister and shackles around Aladdin who was finally coming around.

Mozenrath pulled Jasmine next to him and they walked up to the alter. Another
tear fell down Jasmine's cheek. When they reached the alter the minister
began the ceremony.

"Do you, Mozenrath Lord of the Black Sand, take Princess Jasmine of Agrabah
to be your wife in sickness and health, for richer for poorer, to death do
you part?"

"Yes, I do." Mozenrath smiled and looked at Jasmine with his hollow eyes that
made Jasmine draw back a step.

"Then, do you Princess Jasmine of Agrabah, take Mozenrath, Lord of the Black
Sand to be your husband in sickness and health, for richer for poorer, to
death do you part?" The minister's words shot threw her harder than any
others before. She wanted to scream "No No No!!!"

"Yes.....I....I....." Tears ran down faster and the room started to spin.
Mozenrath got agitated and grabbed her arm with his left and let his right
start to glow. "You...what?"

Aladdin opened his eyes and struggled to sit up. He gazed around the room and
his eyes fixed on Jasmine and Mozenrath. "Jasmine, NO! Don't do it! NO!"
Aladdin pulled on his chains, but they were nailed down to the floor so he
could only move a few feet each way.

"I...I...d.....do." Jasmine sputtered out and felt her heart drop.

"Then with the secrete kiss, you shall be wed."

Mozenrath leaned in and kissed Jasmine. Amazingly it was gentle and short.
Nothing like the others he forced on her. Mozenrath backed away and smiled.
He clapped his hands and everything for the wedding was gone. The minister,
the flowers, the alter, everything. Except for Aladdin's chains and Jasmine's
outfit.

"Now, that wasn't so bad was it Jasmine?" Mozenrath asked her

Jasmine stepped back letting what just happen sink in. She breathed in deeply
and wiped her tears away that continued to fall. Aladdin pulled harder and
harder on his chains hoping they would finally break.

Aladdin also needed time to let what happened go through. He anger burned
higher and higher. "Mozenrath! You son of a -"

"Easy now street rat. I only need her for a year."

"What?" Aladdin and Jasmine asked in unison.

"I need an heir. One year is perfect amount of time."

"Why you-" Aladdin pulled again on his chains with all his effort.

Mozenrath once again snapped his fingers and mamluks appeared and began to
drag him away.

"You're not getting away with this Mozenrath! I swear some how you will pay!"
Aladdin's voice echoed down the hallway. Abu had been taken to a separate
room before instead of a cell which he could easily pick. Aladdin was going
to the same place. They threw him in a bedroom that was small and musty.

He pounded on the doors and yelled, but nothing seemed to even make a
difference. They was nothing he could do. It had been four days since he
left. He knew he didn't have the remaining three to wait for Genie. Time was
against them.

Part Eleven

Jasmine watched the mamluks carry Aladdin away helplessly and more tears
fell, but she didn't make a sound. Once they were out of sight, Mozenrath
turned back to Jasmine.

"Now then, shall we get started on this child of ours?" he questioned

"You're sick Mozenrath! Sick and twisted!" She screamed as she turned her
back on him.

"It's not all that bad. For magic, we don't need to do it *that* way. Just
like any other thing a sorcerer does, having a child is like a spell." He
tried to explain, but it was obvious Jasmine didn't quiet understand.

"Just follow me." he commanded and she obeyed. They walked into another
library that seemed to have even more books. The door was locked, so
Mozenrath had to use a key around his neck to open it. The lock was rusted
and chipped. Once the door opened Mozenrath went in and motioned Jasmine to
follow.

"Here." Mozenrath showed her a book laid out on his table. "How to create a
child."

Jasmine backed away, repulsed and terrified. "was he serious? I can't do
this! I won't!" She screamed in her mind, the thought of raising a child in
the hands of Mozenrath made her blood boil. She would never do this, it
wasn't fair to her or the child. But.....Aladdin. Her thoughts returned to
Aladdin and another tear streamed down her face. Now she felt sick, the very
thought of never seeing him again made her feel faint.

They had to get out of this. Jasmine knew if there was one person in the
world that could do it, it would be Aladdin. That defiantly gave her hope.

Mozenrath read over a small passage and looked at Jasmine. He could tell she
was caught up in her own thoughts, and he figured they had something to do
with Aladdin "they always do." he thought to himself, and consider how do
deal with her.

"Perhaps we should wait until later." He told her. He turned and continued to
read, with his left hand without even looking at her, he snapped his fingers
and immediately three mamluks began to escort her out. "Go change too." He
commanded her as he continued to read.

Jasmine seemed dazed as they took her back to her room. She walked in and
decided the best thing to do was change too. She hated that wedding dress and
she wished she never had even seen it before in her entire life. She changed
back into her normal outfit, but the crown on her head wouldn't come off, she
pulled and pulled, but no avail.

Finally she gave up and laid down on her bed, and quickly fell fast asleep,
dreaming about home, her father, her friends, and mostly Aladdin.

Part Twelve

"When I get my hands on him, he's going to wish he--" Aladdin said to
himself, but stopped once he saw a small window in the corner of his room. He
walked over to it and peered out. He was very high up and the ground seemed
very distant. He was in a tower in the backside of Mozenrath's Citadel. There
was a small ledge along the bottom of the window that seemed to go all around
the tower from what he could tell.

Aladdin didn't have time to really think about it and so he climbed out of
the window and tried to get his balance on the thin ledge. He slid along it
holding on to the bricks in the wall for hand placements. Every once in a
while he'd slip, but he'd quickly catch his footing again. Before long, he
came across another window. It led into the hallway in front of the doors to
the room he had been put in.

He looked in through the window looking for any movement from anything. There
was no one guarding his door and there didn't even seem to be anyone in that
whole tower. He wasn't sure where Abu was, but he had a good idea. There was
another room across from the one Aladdin was in and it was locked to. He
quietly climbed through the larger window and walked down the hallway, over
to the other door.

He started carefully working on the lock and with a final twist of his wrist,
it opened. He gently tapped the door so it would slowly open. He looked
inside and say Abu looking happily up at him. Aladdin helped Abu on his
shoulder and he soundlessly shut the door and put the lock back on just as he
left it.

They quickly went down the stairs and back to where he was before, near
Jasmine's room. Even more mamluks were guarding it this time and Aladdin just
decided to wait and see what was happening. His last two efforts to get
Jasmine out always ended in pain and separation, so he thought he play it low
this time.

Part Thirteen

Mozenrath finished gathering the last supplies, all he needed now was
Jasmine. He walked down the hallway and walked passed the mamluks and opened
to door with his magic. It creaked open and he walked inside. He closed the
door behind him and walked over to Jasmine.

She pulled away from Mozenrath when he went over to her. "How's my wife
doing?"

"Go away Mozenrath! I hate you!" She screamed at him

"You're going to have to deal with that problem on your own."

"Why wont this stupid this come off!" She asked with a high tone of fury in
her voice as she pulled on the crown of her head.

"As long as you are the Queen of the Land of the Black Sand, that crown will
forever be on your head."

"No! I can't take this place! I can't take you! Let me go Mozenrath! Please!"
Jasmine begged him with everything she had. He just looked at her with one
eyebrow lifted and a small smile across his face.

"You have a lot of spunk and charisma, those are good traits I hope our child
will inherit."

Jasmine sighed and looked down at the floor. "Why do I even bother?" She
muttered to herself and wished she never had even heard about black sand.

"Come darling, "he mocked "we have business to attend to." With that
Mozenrath walked out of the room.

"Don't call me that!" Jasmine yelled to him.

He turned and walked back into the room, angered."I'll call you whatever I
like, I am your husband and you'll do as I say!" Mozenrath informed her as he
turned again to walk out the door

Jasmine glared her eyes at him "If you were even half the person Aladdin is,
you--" Mozenrath turned again and before she could finish he drew his hand
back and slapped her across her face. She let out a small scream and rubbed
her cheek with her hand. It stung and burned. She could feel the heat on her
skin and she was kind of shocked. She had *never* been hit before like that.

"Now, lets GO!" He ordered her through clenched teeth, turned and left.
Jasmine hung her head and followed.

She walked down the hallway, once again escorted by mamluks. The hallways
were becoming more and more familiar to her and she thought she could
probably find any room she wanted in that wing by now.

Once they reached the locked library again, he opened it again with the key.
Once the door was open, he turned and pulled then pushed Jasmine into the
room. He shut the door behind them and left it unlocked.

"All right, I have everything all set." Mozenrath told her as he walked past
her and over to his book. There were a few candles lit, some strange objects,
a knife, and an empty cup all laid out on the floor. Mozenrath took the book
and sat down on the floor  and motioned Jasmine do the same.

She obeyed and sat down across from him. She looked around the room, at all
the different objects and then at Mozenrath. He read the passage and then
took the first object, the knife. He took his left hand, palm up and made a
small slash in it, drawing blood. He winced, and quickly grabbed the cup.

He let the blood go into the cup until he thought there was enough in there.
He took a small piece of fabric and cleaned his hand.

"Give me your hand." Mozenrath ordered her

"No!"

"I wont say it again, GIVE.....ME.....YOUR......HAND!"

Jasmine didn't move. Mozenrath brought up his gauntlet and let the magic
collect in it and begin to glow. He made a circle motion in the air and a
small picture appeared where he did it. It was Aladdin. It was a picture of
the earlier battle when he was gasping for air in pain.

Jasmine reached out to touch it, but it started to fade and finally
disappeared before she touched it. She drew her hand back slowly and looked
at Mozenrath. He just stared at her with anticipation......waiting. She
swallowed hard and gave her hand to him.

Part Fourteen

Mozenrath took her hand and made a small slash just as he did to his. She
whimpered a little and winced away from the pain. He brought the cup up to
her hand and let the blood flow in until he knew that was enough.

He handed her a piece of fabric and she gently cleaned her hand. It hurt
pretty bad from the cut, but she tried as hard as she could not to show it.

Mozenrath took the cup and placed it in the middle of the two and with a
spoon-like object, and mixed the blood. Jasmine drew back repulsed and turned
her head the other way. She felt sickened.

Mozenrath cleaned off the spoon and picked up the blood stained cup. It was a
gold cup, no bigger than a book. Mozenrath inspected the cup and it's
contents and then handed to Jasmine. She drew back, uncertain what to do with
it.

"Drink." He ordered her as he cleaned his hand more

"No! That disgusting! I won't!" Jasmine protested pushing the cup away.

"All you have to do is drink and the combined blood will mix. My magic and
your traits will blend together the best of both of us and form and child.
Magic takes longer than the normal nine months, so it takes about a year and
then once the child is born it will be stronger than any other in the world."
He explained to her.

Jasmine couldn't believe what she was hearing, he was serious.  Her emotions
went from terrified, straight to rage. She was angered to think of a child
being brought up by Mozenrath's evil rule and probably going on to hurt and
destroy people and cities, just as it's father.

"Drink it now!" He ordered her again, his tone and temper raising.

"No! I can't! I won't" Jasmine yelled trying to stay as calm as she could.

Mozenrath sighed in anger and stood up. He walked behind his desk and circled
it, in a deep thought, caressing his chin and looking up.

"Jasmine, you love Aladdin don't you?" He abruptly asked her. Still keeping
his eyes up and standing by his desk.

Jasmine was taken back by the question. It was sudden and unexpected.

"What does that have to do with anything?"  She asked, trying to delay the
matter at hand.

"Just answer the question."

"Yes, I do."

"Okay....okay......well....If you would ever like to see him alive again,
you'll drink."

Jasmine took her eyes off the cup, Mozenrath and everything in the room
except the floor, she looked down, ashamed. She was disappointed in herself,
acting like a child, while Aladdin's life rested in her hands. She was
trapped.

"Do you want to have his death on your hands Jasmine?"

"No!"

"Then Drink!"

Jasmine swallowed and looked again at the cup filled with her blood and that
evil monster's. Her hand started to shake and she felt her feet go cold and
numb. She lifted the cup and prepared herself to drink.

Part Fifteen

"No! Jasmine don't!" screamed Aladdin who had been watching the whole time
from a crack in the door. He slammed the door open and walked in. Jasmine
smiled at Aladdin and got up, placing the cup on the floor.

"This is getting ridiculous." Mozenrath mumbled to himself and walked over to
where Aladdin and Jasmine were standing.

"Let Jasmine go, Mozenrath!"

"Sorry street rat, but she's now my property, she's married to me and I own
her."

"You don't own me!" Jasmine screamed backing away from him and over to
Aladdin's side.

"I'm afraid so. As long as you wear that crown, you belong to me."

Jasmine's eyes went large and then glared at Mozenrath. She tugged and pulled
on the crown on her head, but it wouldn't move.

Mozenrath chuckled slightly at her for her efforts. He bent down and picked
up the cup of blood sitting on the floor where Jasmine placed it.

"DRINK!" He ordered her once again handing the cup to her.

Aladdin, fully aware of what drinking that would cause, grabbed it and
through it to the ground, causing it to spill everywhere. Mozenrath let out a
yell and tackled Aladdin, causing them to both fall to the floor.

Jasmine watched the two fight and looked around the room frantically. She saw
a vase sitting on a pedestal and grabbed it. She lifted it high above her
head, and when the perfect opportunity arose, she smashed it over Mozenrath's
head, causing the vase to shatter pieces everywhere and knocking Mozenrath
out.

Aladdin got up with the help of Jasmine and they ran out of the door greeting
Abu at the entrance who stayed there in case for backup. He hopped on
Aladdin's shoulder and they ran through the Citadel.

When the reached the doors to the entrance, Aladdin pulled on the door,
opening it slightly. Jasmine slipped through with Aladdin close behind. Once
they were out he shut the door and they took off running.

Once the first building came in reach, Aladdin helped Jasmine up and they
began to jump from one to another. They jumped to each with ease, not
alerting one mamluk. Once they finally set foot on the last building in his
city, they took a break to catch their breath.

Aladdin walked over to Jasmine and gave her a warm hug. She smiled and petted
Abu.

"Almost there." Aladdin whispered and took her hand. "Let's go."

They jumped off the last building and after catching their balance ran off
towards Agrabah, the small light in the distance.

In his Citadel, Mozenrath woke up with a splitting headache and a small cut
in his head. He groaned and sat up, trying to focus his eyes. He looked
around for Jasmine but she was gone. He got up and picked up his cape,
twirled it and vanished from the library.

He reappeared at the exit of his city and looked around. He saw out in the
distance two figures running off together towards Agrabah.

He twirled his cape again and reappeared in front of Jasmine and Aladdin who
stopped in their tracks.

"I will NOT be robbed of my wife!" Mozenrath screamed at them as he extended
his hand and grabbed her arm. But before he could twirl his cape over them,
he was brought to the ground by Aladdin.

They rolled over one another in the sand, trying to pin the other down, but
neither one of them could get the right footing or grip on the other.

"I'm going to enjoy ending your life, street rat!" With that Mozenrath's
right hand started to glow the blue and black flame and it grew brighter and
hotter. So much Aladdin had to let go of his grip due to the heat.

With less force on Mozenrath, he easily pinned Aladdin down and let his
gauntlet grow to full power. Aladdin squirmed and wiggled trying to break
free, but he couldn't. Once the gauntlet hit full power Mozenrath brought his
hand up in the air, and prepared himself to strike.

Part Sixteen

Just as Mozenrath was about ready to hit Aladdin, he was pushed from behind
and toppled over in the sand. He lost his concentration and the power drained
back in him. The flames died and his hand returned to normal.

Jasmine helped Aladdin up and they turned and faced Mozenrath. He was picking
himself up off the ground. He looked at the two and the monkey in disgust and
brought his hand up to let the power grow once again.

Aladdin pulled Jasmine behind them and prepared to jump out of the way if
Mozenrath shot at them. But as soon as his power started to collect in his
arm, he doubled over in pain, holding his hand and screaming in agony.

Aladdin and Jasmine watched him cry in pain and try to pick himself up. He
had strained himself too much trying to summon all his power too often in a
short amount of time. He couldn't concentrate on anything but the
mind-numbing, piercing, throbbing pain.

He managed to pick himself up and without much effort, he twirled his cape
and disappeared. Jasmine and Aladdin looked at each other in confusion, but
didn't waste much more time and took off running again. Before too long, they
reached the horse Abu and Aladdin had left there a few days back and mounted
it. Aladdin took the reins and Jasmine sat behind him with Abu.

With a snap of the reins, the horse took off like lightning, heading for
Agrabah. Once they reached the gold sand, they slowed the horse down and felt
the warm sun on their skin. It had been five days since they left, and any of
them had gotten much sleep at all.

They finally reached Agrabah and dismounted the horse at the gate. They ran
through the marketplace and up to Aladdin's hovel where the guys were
anxiously waiting for them. When they entered they were greeted by Genie,
Iago and Carpet, all asking questions and glad they were back.

"Al, what happened?" Genie asked the loudest. Everyone else was quiet and let
them answer.

"We'll explain later, Genie, can you the crown off Jasmine's head?" Aladdin
asked pointing to it.

"Hmmm." Genie floated over and inspected the crown. "The only way this could
possibly stay on like this is if you....." Genie listened to what he was
saying and then looked disbelievingly at Aladdin and Jasmine. "Did
you.....marry him?"

"Yes, Genie I had to."

"Ewwwwww." Iago commented and stuck out his tongue. Aladdin gave him a stern
look and he closed his beak.

"Can you help me get it off?" Jasmine asked desperately

"Yeah, it's simple all you have to do is end the marriage." Genie said as he
inspected the crown more.

" 'End the marriage'? How do I do that?" She asked as she pulled again on the
crown

"Kiss someone other than Mozenrath, how do all evil magical spells end?"
Genie asked knowing everyone knew the answer. Iago shut his eyes aware of
what was coming next.

"True love's kiss." Aladdin and Jasmine answered in unison and looked at each
other. Jasmine smiled and ran into Aladdin's arms and gave him a long kiss.
The crown immediately came off and fell to the floor. Aladdin and Jasmine
broke their embrace and looked at the crown, it slowly started to fade away.

It soon vanished and there was nothing left. Jasmine and Aladdin sat down and
started to the others the whole story, happy to be home and with each other
again.

The End

Epilogue

Mozenrath reappeared in his Citadel and collapsed to the floor in pain.
Xerxes flew over to his master's side and looked over him.

"Master.....(gulp)...loose?"

Mozenrath didn't answer, he just grabbed the eel and through him across the
room. Xerxes flew out in fear and decided to let his master cool down.

"Just wait.........I'll get you Princess once I've healed and regained the
control over my power and I'll get rid of that street rat!" As soon as he
finished saying that, the crown he gave to Jasmine appeared on his desk. He
slammed his fist down and let out a scream of anger.
