Lyrics:

Infomation:
Boarding calls,
Darkness drops.
Upon this day,
A shadow falls
Silence walks,
Through the halls,
Since I've been gone, gone, gone

A hundred years,
From today,
Lamp lights a blaze,
Paves my way,
Till Jesus saves,
My early grave,
I will be gone, gone, gone

Drop the anchor,
Lift my heart.
From stem to stern,
I'm torn apart.
Mount my horse,
Pack my cart,
Tommorrow I'm gone, gone, gone

Seek the hull,
Leave the deck.
Silver moon,
Silhouettes.
In due time,
You will forget,
That I am gone, gone, gone

 Track 1 on
The Shadows Fall Single and track 3 on "The Coral"

Released: 24.07.01 on Deltasonic

The band's first single,
this was number 28 on NME's
top 50 singles of 2001.. now fetching for
over £60 on ebay!
- Not bad for their first official releaase!

This "sea-shanty" anthem is
a classic Coral track with what almost
sounds like a barber-shop triplet from the lads,
and an updated, slower version features on "The Coral".
