Arcadia Lost is a world class foaling facility. Owner Corona McTavish has never lost a foal or mare. The facilities host all the latest equipment and highest class monitors. Mares are hand bred in the stallion shed, and moved to the foaling barns as soon as a pregnancy is ensured. Ultra-sound tests are performed on each carrier every month.

Stallions are all testes to be STD clear for each potential in every breed. No carriers are permitted to a positive mare. Stallions are hand bred, and mares artificially inseminated where live breeding is not possible. Cooled and frozen semen is constantly being shipped through the world, some straws bringing in over ten thousand dollars at charity auctions.

Our current top producer is the warmblood stallion, Struth. This charming young horse is out of the show jumping mare, Ratina Z, who was a silver medallist in the 1992 Olympics, won 1993 World Cup, and was 1997 European Champion. The dressage master, Rembrant, sired this stallion. Rembrant was the 1988 and 1992 Olympic team and individual gold medallist.
Struth has proven himself as a champion in dressage. The stallion dominated in USDF open circuit, and was proclaimed champion at the 1998 Prix Saint-Georges. The stallion is currently being started in show jumping, and is beginning to burn up the jumping ring as he does the dressage.

If you have a stallion you think would make a profitable sire, please leave a message at the office with the stallion’s name, bloodlines, photo, and wins and the owner will be sure to discuss a stud position with you.

If you own a mare toy the idea of breeding her, ask for a tour of the stud barn and I am confident I can find you something to aid you in your decision.
