Saturday 18 July 3000 sailors of the fleet at Invergordon are expected to have shore leave. Free transport will be suitably arranged.

This is a band who have appeared throughout England , appeared on “Opportunity Knocks” and also Tyne Tees TV. Their second live appearance on BBC Radio 1 Club will be on the 28th of this month. They are a six piece group.

This is one of England’s top groups, which has played in the biggest ballrooms and nightclubs throughout Britain.

This band has had fantastic success in England. Their latest record is “She’s such a good looking girl” coupled with “She loves that boy”

This band is making a return visit to Strathpeffer for two weeks after making a very comprehensive tour of England and Ireland, having been a real hit with their patrons in both Cabaret and Top Ballrooms.
The Management would like to take the opportunity of thanking the re-united Drovers who appeared in the Pavilion last week and played to an audience of 1200 people. Would patrons note that they have been booked to play in the future.

The Diary have just finished a terrific season in the Isle of Man. Before that they successfully toured the West Indies, New York, Scandinavia, Germany and France. They have also been the backing group for the Drifters. On the 1st December they are going on an 18month tour of South Africa. The Pavilion is very pleased to secure them for this week’s dances. They will be backed by one of England’s top Disc Jockeys, Brian Rae, who has the latest equipment with records and flashing lights etc. This is an artiste you cannot miss
