Ruger 10/22 - Stainless, with composite stock. Equiped with a Simmon - Deerfeild scope. This is a fun gun to use. I avoided buying the wood because the composite stock is much lighter and I like the feel of the gun more with it. When buying a gun I think the "feel" is more important than the price. I like the gun to feel comfortable the second I pick it up. I the composite is also nice because it is very easy to take care of.

Remingtion 870 Express Magnum - Standard pump with a 28" barrel. This a great "all around" shotgun. It is very versitile and holds up to everything. It is also very reasonably price and is readily available in a combo anywhere you purchase guns. Parts are abundant if ever needed also. Downside is that this gun will jam up if it isn't oiled all the time.
