One of the most important things to remember when dealing with Copyrights violation problems is to remain calm. Do not lose your temper and do not threaten. Remain professional and polite at all times.
Sometimes, just sometimes, there may have been a legitimate mistake made on the part of someone (if someone has ripped your entire site, well, the chances of a mistake are probably slim at best, but it is better to be professional in all communication if it goes to court).
