Welcome to the on-line home of Neo·Geo soundtracks!

From as far back as the later days of the Atari 2600 I have loved video game music, an admiration of mine hugely strengthened by the Nintendo's games more than anything else. Back in 1993, when Samurai Shodown was new, I was taken to new heights as a music fan. Partly out of love for SNK's wonder machine, and partly for being such a fan of instrumental music, I got to love video game music to the point that I have now made a web page about it, in the hopes of spreading the word and doing what I can to help people get the soundtracks to some of the best games around. Part of getting the OST's though is first of all knowing what's out there, which is the primary function of my web page.

As the name implies, NEO·GEO OST.com is intended to be the internet's fountain of information about original soundtracks for SNK's mighty NEO·GEO arcade MVS and home systems. It was not long though before I began listing arranged + drama CD's, and finally original projects not for the MVS hardware, going back as far in time as possible from the pre-Neo days right up to present, like the Playstation RPG's, as well as soundtracks of anime series/films etc. that have some relation to the Neo·Geo.

Therefore, what you shall find here is the CD information most of all and as side projects would have it, listings of NG ports to other consoles, video and laserdisc information, what NEO·GEO anime is out there as well as some other stuff. So, click one of the images below, and away you'll go to your desired location. Enjoy!

Hate mail, love letters, complaints, complements and comments or questions in general can all be sent to moi. So can requests, so if you have something to say, mail me!

Don't forget to visit the new sales page which went on-line last Sunday. More music coming very soon and hopefully an overhaul here by the end of the summer. Looks like I'm more or less staying put until uni re-starts so I think I can manage it between daily episodes of KOR TV.

So things finally picked up here again. Check out the mp3 page for what's new. More stuff will come only after I get through my upcoming sale, so in about another week or so.

Oh my God I updated! Yes, believe it or not, I update more than just the sales pages. After getting stranded in Hong Kong for a while and running into a laughable number of problems with the hosting company, which has currently suspended my account, you can see that we're still on the Geocities page here. I'm working on getting that cleared up as soon as possible. In the mean time, I updated some files on the Off Topic pages, added new as well as upcoming releases to the Ports pages, and corrected some erroneous info here and there. More stuff to come soon. As for the weekly~monthly music download I'm asking a friend to see if he can get you guys some stuff from an OST I never managed to procure myself. Let's hope it goes well...

Today a wonderful CD was released so hop over to the mp3 page to jump on this week's milk and cookies. The lists of MVS extras on the Off Topic page went under re-construction and is now MUCH simpler to view, as seen here. Minor updates to various pages and some cosmetic changes are still in effect. As usual there is always something more on the boil and hopefully soon, the broth will warm the hungry insides of this site. Now go play some KoF 2002.

Finally remembered to update the mp3 page for this week's freebie. Plenty of aesthetic changes in the works which you can see as you browse around the pages. More changes still will be shotrly implemented so stick around.

Another mp3 for you this week and some minor updates and/or corrections to some of the other pages. While I am figuring out how to re-organize and update the links page feel free to e-mail me if you would like a warpzone to your site up at my place.

10000 hits! WOW! And THANK YOU for your continued support in visiting this place. Although work here in Japan has not allowed me much time for updates over the past week, I do have some changes and "upgrades" in store, which will trickle their way into the site starting very soon.
The "off-shoot" collectibles page (pages, rather, and finished at that) will sadly not be the first addition though. My compact flash card decided it could no longer hold out on a paritcular life experience, and so took it upon itself to generate bad sectors, wiping out literally dozens of photos which now rest only on my desktop back in Canada. That now involuntarily out of the way, overhauling some of the other pages can begin. More music coming soon, and a new discovery listed on the PlayStation conversion page.

More free music from someone who has spent too much money on his CD collection. More updates to follow.

Another new mp3 this week for you. Also, the lists of games with & without language selects, as well as the lists original/arranged music in Neo CD games, have been receiving updates which you may have noticed, and any contributed information is much appreciated. Slowly but surely, things are getting back to normal.

STATE OF AFFAIRS:

In a very short while I am moving. Very far away, and for a good while, all the preparations of which have left me with scarcely little time to keep this place updated after everything else I do (namely the sale pages on the other end of those link buttons above). So for the moment, expect not much more than free music once a week or so (thanks Joe!), until perhaps sometime next month. Once away, I should be even busier than I am now, and altogether have more time to update, provided I have enough pertaining information to make an update, and/or pictures where need be. I should still have a healthy variety of CD's from which to extract music, fear not. So for now I hope you like the Sengoku 3 mp3's and I hope you will like the upcoming off-shoot page to this site, and please take a moment or two to browse the selling pages. Thanks!

I'm finally home. Never quite got to post that last update which also announced my then-upcoming hiatus so sorry for the long silence. In any case, once I get my feet back on the ground, I will get back to work here. New stuff is coming for sure.

Updates today to the hidden/extra endinglists as well as to the lists of games containing the language select option. Full credit to Charlie aka EvilWasabi for the info.
