Wear Your NEO·GEO Love

Another aspect of the wonderful world of SNK -and for that matter other companies that made Neo games- is that like many Japanese gaming companies, they made clothing related to their megahit characters and blockbuster titles.  Here to get us started, is a small example, that proverbial tip of the iceberg, to introduce NGO's new section.


Included as a gift with the NEO·GEO Collector's Box, was our hero Terry's original hat, sporting the NEO·GEO logo as seen only in Garou Densetsu (Fatal Fury).
























Following the huge success of Fatal Fury, the brothers Bogard and their Japanese comrade Joe Higashi, came more merchandise; more hats.  The one on the right has a line of copyright info. below Terry's signature as its origins were actually of the NG to Super Famicom (SNES) port of Garou Densetsu.  I owned that one briefly.
 


With growing popularity comes exploitable opportunities, and customers.  Here we go into Garou Densetsu 2, and longer lasting than ice cream bars are an assortment of hats from Garou Densetsu SPECIAL.
 
 


Over the ages technology advanced, man went from caves to the moon, and SNK produced the real McCoy of Terry hats:  The steel-fronted Terry Bogard cap of the Garou Densetsu animes.  This was apparently sold as a set with Terry's King of the Fighters hat, introduced in Garou 3 and popularly seen throughout the Real Bout series, along with the windbreaker seen below.
 
 


Time went on, and Terry Bogard's popularity thrived. With it came an even better jacket for you cosplay nuts.  This red leather jacket has removable sleeves, to save you the trouble of finding a seam-ripper or just tearing them off yourselves.
