In anime's corner of the ring one will find somewhat of a disparity with the listings.  8 Man as well as Bomber Man, Gowcaizer and Legend of Success Joe, not to mention Maruko-chan were all anime series prior to being commemorated in the form of MVS games and, because I'm not necessarily sure which part of the animation world (film, TV series...) the games are based on, if any in particular, I ran into a buffer stop when contemplating what to include and what to leave out in the rain.  So unless someone is willing to contribute accurate information on the matter to me, I will leave them off the lists.
